Hmm, the latest info from Ford Chat - "As of this time I see this vehicle is in transit on a hold."

I asked if they had a location, and they said it's in Elkhart, IN. That's about 2 hours from my dealer so I'm assuming the train is done and they're waiting for a truck? Estimate is still 6/19 - almost 3 weeks to make it 2 hours down the road is wild.

Can I hire a flatbed truck to bring it to the dealer myself?

Different build week here, but my car is also still in Elkhart. It's been there since May 20th. ?

I don’t mind. Nobody EVER came up to ask me about my 1980 Datsun 510 wagon!

This just brought back memories of our Datsun 310GX that my dad bought during one of the “energy crises” I think in the late 70s. It had the harshest ride of any car I’ve been in and had this nasty habit of the fuel line getting water and freezing on very cold days. Just awful…. Ok, back to our regularly scheduled program.

No new updates today for my MME. It is still in railyard in Petersburg, VA awaiting pickup by United Road Transport. ETA from FORD Chat is still showing June 21-June 27, 2022. Still in the running for last car delivered. I spoke with my sales guy yesterday who said he would be checking with his transporter (United Road Transport) to see what status is. He is ready for me to pick up and get this deal over with. So, we wait, not so patiently.

Hi all! Long time no talk... I did indeed pick-up a Mach-E, however a different one that the one I was tracking all along due to a unfathomable error on the dealer's part - which I will get into another day. So for all intents and purposes, consider me delivered
