I’m tired of waiting! My plans are to go to the Detroit Auto Show and decide on a new car and then sell or trade my Abandoned MME. My new car will not be a Ford!

My last update was on May 31 for my 2021 Premium AWD :frown:
Same. 2021 Job 2 premium extended range...delivered in April 2022, which gives me free Blue Cruise until then; hope BC gets updated before that. ?

Remember how long it took for Ford to finally release the update that allowed remote frunk access for 2021s? This despite having the update available?

The required updates for BC on 2021s are done, tested, ready to go, but they aren't being released and it seems they have no intention of releasing them.

The only thing it doesn't do that the new system supposedly does is auto-lane change.
My understanding is that in addition to auto lane changes, it also significantly reduces the hands free interruptions telling you hold the wheel (like mine does at most exits when I am in the right lane, which encourages me to illegally use the left lane too often), and it both centers better in the lane and moves off center when passing a vehicle like a semi that is hogging the edge of their lane. I expect the better lane management and fewer hands on events are more appreciated than the auto lane changes.

Question: I have a First Edition. Is that considered a Job 1 vehicle?

There are two brands I will never buy again due to outrageous maintenance issues. I will never again buy a Mercedes because of the ridiculously frequent and expensive maintenance (even the scheduled maintenance was absurd). I will never again buy again buy a BMW because I terrible design in the AC system, leaving out a dryer trap, allowed a one year out of warranty AC compressor failure to destroy the entire system, including the battery cooling lines, causing $23K in damages, with no help to cover it from BMW. By comparison, the issues I have had with my 3 Fords have been infrequent and trivial and sometimes expensive, but never outrageously so.

When my Mach-e (pseudo) lease expires next March, if the fair market value is lower than the residual price, I will keep it for at least a few more years. I really like the car. Otherwise, if they won’t accept a lower fair market value from me, then I will move on, perhaps to another Mach-e.

I turned updates OFF long ago. I do not trust the @Ford Motor Company OTA version release quality control, and I will not EVER trust any software to drive or actively assist.

The only think I want updated is map data, and I can do that using AndroidAuto, or my phone.

my last update was june but as far as i can tell there is no specific stoppage. as recently as the past couple of weeks there were 2021 non-EA cars that received 10.xx for BC

also not sure why the other poster said no updates until 2025 because of holidays, in all prior years cars received updates throughout the holiday season

Yes First Editions were Job 1

My thoughts exactly. Anybody here an attorney and would like to initiate a class action law suit?
what exactly is your basis for a class action? There are no contracts/guaranteed updates in formal paper from ford...

That seems rather extreme to me.

I would have probably done it either way. But this experience absolutely gives me a bad taste in my mouth.

Remember you are supposed to claim you are getting rid of your Mach E for Bluecruise not being updated while also posting you would never pay the Bluecruise subscription price.
