Agreed. But if there was evidence of an “official” ford release of remote Frunk release to Job 1 vehicles, I’d be at my service department, whining ?

The sad/annoying part to this is that the extra thing to run that activates the Frunk button on the main screen literally takes about three minutes all in if you already have the module updates. It should just be a courtesy.

What I would really like is to see and have some input into what they prioritize. Frunk is obviously doable and is equally not a priority... aggravating.

It's still my expectation that anything showing available in FDRS should be been pushed OTA.

I'd like to have the frunk button but in almost 2 years I've opened the frunk maybe 3 times. Would I open it more if the soft button were there? Maybe.

Ah common stop complaining everyone here in NL is still on 2.7.x. Their release management makes no sense at all. At least the car still puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it.

Do our emergency push to open switches inside the Frunk actually work? I know we discussed it but I don’t recall a definitive answer. If they do not, there’s one of the hardware problems.

I have a 2021 Job 1 and the button inside the Frunk does not work when you push it. My son has a Job 2 car when you push his you can hear an electronic release sound.

It looks like you have a '22 from your profile. The issue is with '21 Job 1 cars. Appears to be the same hardware, but different software.

Just follow other post here and configure a F150 lightning remote to the MME, the extra button for the F150 will release the frunk on the MME.
