Finally able to log on to the tracker, I guess my question is now I move to tracking rail train/car right? I couldn't find how to do this if anyone has info on who to call the car will be coming to California which I think affects the company shipping it? Thanks for any help

Is it just us two, or has anyone one else from our elusive 04/11 GT group received updates?

Also I'm not really sure on the rail car tracking. It's in this thread somewhere, but I was too disgruntled to pay attention at that time lol

My car is currently inside the factory being charged to 100% for the first time since it left the factory 7 weeks ago, so I would assume I'm looking at a built notice of tomorrow or wednesday....I hope.

You will need to ask Ford Chat or your dealer to give you the rail-car # associated with your car once you depart from KC on one of the railroads. Go to the Trackers Tab in this forum to get the phone number of the RR and how to follow the prompts. Then get ready to be more grumpy.

Thennnn, depending on who you get shipped with, you may be unable to track the car. BNSF for example up to Washington state for me was untrackable. So then waiting becomes harder. Keep in mind ford chat systems are usually a few days behind where the car actually is, until delivered.

My status has changed on both Norfolk Southern and on United Road.

United Road has changed to Pending Pickup. I can't quite make out what the Norfolk Southern recording is saying. Something like RLTY, RMTY? Not sure.

What's interesting is that on the United Road portal, I see a number of cars marked as delivered today, that still show up as "Pending Pickup" on the Current Shipments tab. They never showed a delivery date.

I guess that means mine could be delivered any day now...

Ford Chat:

I am confirming that Recall 22S41 is shown for your provided VIN.

In the affected vehicles, it is possible that the high voltage battery main contactors may
overheat, which can result in an open contactor or welding condition. Should the contactors
weld closed while driving, a powertrain malfunction warning light will be illuminated on the next
drive cycle, along with a no start condition.

Owners of record will be notified via first-class mail after repair instructions and parts ordering
information have been provided to dealers. Vehicles in transit will be held until necessary software or parts are available to correct the issue.

The recall does confirm federal law requires dealers to complete this recall service before a new vehicle is delivered to the buyer or lessee. We would recommend speaking with the service/sales manager of the selling dealership for options.

OMFG ! WTF? My car was built like May 7th. I was expecting delivery this week. Is this recal for real? I don’t see it in the press yet. I’m really regretting this entire thing but have been waiting 9 months and I’m selling my existing car on Friday. Are they going to stop my delivery? For those of you just delivered… what?

It is. I just gor off the phone and chat with ford. If your vin is on the list and mine is you're screwed. I had already done the financing and everything was set to go.

The Ford Recal website says I am okay however, Ford Chat says that I am recalled and delivery will be stopped. How is Ford so fucked up that they can’t get their recall communications programs in synch. This is a disaster for me and insult to a brutal 9 month wait for nothing. Who knows how long they will hold up cars. Q3? I might have to move on now into what? I’m really hating this company.

Apparently ford chat says this "Well, this hasn't been released yet. This is what is referred to as an advance notice." This is why the recall website shows you have no recalls but they can check the back end and see it before it is released.
