I'm glad to see progress for some of you. My MME was built 9/13, but per Chat and belatedly my dealer, it's been sitting in Kansas City vicinity since 9/25, 40 days so far at Ramp 6R. I presume it's waiting for a ride to California with a bunch of other MMEs. Today, 11/4, is the first day of the latest extension of a delivery ETA. Total wait time to now, eleven months. It's really been hard to hang onto any good feelings about Ford's allocation and distribution processes for the MME.

After this process, I regret not ordering 2 MME from different dealers like some did, they were much wiser than I was.

Interesting - I just checked with Union Pacific via the 800 # right before seeing this and there was no change. Either it takes a bit to register on that system or mine is on a different train.

You’re probably on the train to Roper Utah which looks to still be sitting in N. Platte.

Are you saying that the three entries are three different trains? I was assuming it was the same train but three different stops but I could easily be wrong.

I’m guessing the one to CO broke off and the Utah/CA train will continue

Did you have paper offer Foor $1000 cash? My dealer is saying my file does not have it.

I didn’t bring a paper to the dealer. My sales rep went into Smart Vincent and printed the available incentives for both my order date (Feb 21st for me) and delivery date. You can choose whichever you want.

The incentives were $1,000 cash bonus (in Florida, as it varies per State, ie. Feb incentives for California are $2,500 bonus) and 2.49% APR (varies per Trim, 2.49% for Premium and below, and I think for GTs was 1.49% at the time). Again, these incentives are only available with Ford Options, and all Ford dealers selling Mach-Es or Lightings have to offer Ford Options. Dealers will always try to sell you what’s best for them, not for you.

Current incentives are not as good:
If you look at the paper they gave me, these incentives are available for orders that were “finalized” by Apr 04, 2022. Meaning when the dealer sent you the sales order sheet for you to sign and processed the order with Ford. For example: I placed my order and gave my deposit on Ford’s website on Feb 14th. For some reason, dealer recognizes my order date as Feb 21st, and the Sale Date as Feb 23rd.

Current incentives are not as good:
- Cash bonus is $500
- APR start at 3.9%
- Even residuals are 1 or 2 percentage points lower iirc.

Again, thanks for passing on this info. U.P. telephone trace confirms this for my car, but they don't provide the destination, which yours does (Roper, UT).

Looks like mine has a shot at beating the revised estimate of 11/23-29/2022 - dealer says they have to wait a few days once it arrives at the rail yard, then they can ask that it be classified as a "Hot VIN" (never heard that term before). I assume that gives it some kind of priority, although the dealer said it could still take several days to get to the dealer after that.

Hoping it gets to my garage before Thanksgiving!

The UT and CA cars are going on separate trains this morning, judging by the different departing time.

My wife says she is glad that she can be of help. Once the train arrives at the destination, the yard will unload the shipment in the same day or with a much longer delay, depending on the capacity. After that, there is a small window for trucking company to pick up before Railroad starts charging fees. For her normal shipment the free window is 2 days.

Thanks! Great information. Maybe she should oversee logistics with Ford! - I think customers would be much more patient if only we had more transparency on the process. If the UT train arrives Monday morning, hopefully this means it should be at dealership by end of week.
