After making a visit, I was finally able to get the dealership communicating on pricing. Unfortunately the depreciation hit on our current car has accelerated quite a bit in the last few weeks.

Confirmed that we'd be locked in at the amazing 1.4% rate, but my trade in lost $6k in value since the end of October.

Decisions decisions.

Wishing a speedy delivery to those still awaiting their first mach e, its a great car!

since you guys are significantly ahead of the 11/7 group that i am in, i thought i would ask anyone here how the Ford Options process actually works.

i think someone told me that you should be able to see the terms/rates etc. for Options in your ford account - that at some point in the process after the car has shipped that you can arrange for financing online. is that the experience of people here? it would be nice to have it all sorted out before setting foot in the dealership.

i think my credit union is giving 4.6% on new car loans right now, so at least 3.9 is less than 4.6! hopefully the cash bonus applies here in northern california.

no x-plan for me as it's a 2023 order; i had joined MCA sometime back but it turned out not to be useful.

A small victory...I tracked down a phone number and eventually a contact for the trucking company that will be transporting my Mach E from the yard in Utah to the dealer here in Idaho. He was friendly enough and didn't seem to mind relaying the information, which was he expected it to ship over within a few days. So the wait could be over by the end of the week...

And some more good news - Estimated delivery on the Ford My Reservations page just changed from 11/23-11/29 to 11/15-11/21 - confirmation of what the trucking company told me.

There's little comfort knowing you're not alone. Some folks in 9/26 build week say their MMEs have at last moved off of ramp 6R, headed West.

That's good news. Mine is sitting down the street at the Utah yard and I still have the delivery date of 11/27-12/3. I can't imagine it will sit in the Utah yard another 2 weeks...but then again, I've been unpleasantly surprised by this process so many times before.

I stand corrected…I just checked - mine has now been changed to 11/15-11/21 also! Maybe it will make the 25 miles to the dealership soon!

I forgot to pass on a useful tidbit - the first person I talked to at the trucking company said they had A LOT of cars waiting for transport. She actually said it was like 500 - don't know if that was just for the one yard in Roper or more than that. That would help explain why it takes so long after being unloaded from the train.

It's been a few days since I checked here, so glad to see there were at least a few updates to the list! And it sounds like the Western orders have at least made it close to the dealer destinations, and we'll get another wave later this week. Looking forward to seeing @KimSkisDiamonds photos coming this weekend! We go in for ceramic tomorrow.

Oh, and it was a bit of a bummer to enjoy about a week of full range battery capacity in the mild temps when we took delivery, only to have the range plummet since with the winter temps rolling in. We have the CART1 ER battery. When charged to 90%, with preconditioning and seat warmers/steering wheel heat only, we are at about 240 estimated mile range when outdoor temps are in the 20-40 degree range. That's more than sufficient for our ~90 miles of daily driving, though. And I was certainly expecting to see the plummet. Oh well, I'll be happy to see that tick back up in, er, March?

@PaperMache Talk to your dealer. They will adjust the rate to 2.49%. Mine also showed me 3.9 but they said we will adjust and they did. Its was for 72 months as well.
