Are there any California deliveries from this build week that are still hung up in transit somewhere, like Kansas City transfer yard?

My MME order built 9/13/22, has been in KC vicinity for 68 days, so far. Delivery ETA extended 4 times. It's looking like another delivery ETA extension is coming.

Did you get a railcar assignment yet? If its been assigned hopefully its actually moving although you wont know until you can track it somehow

Someone said it took 4 days to get to Southern California from KC for their MME.

Thanks, yes, there is the possibility that Chat and dealer are last to know where the MME is.

Yeah, hopefully that’s the case. I was told multiple wrong things from the dealer so I wouldn’t be surprised if they have no idea.

If you have the rail car number, you should be able to track it somehow and see if it arrived at the destination it’s too bad the dealer didn’t set you up with Vinview

I can only tell you how mine went since I was fairly active in tracking it:

Shipped Sept 23rd from factory
arrived in KC around October 6th got sent to Mache purgatory 6R (I assume at this point it missed its train for one reason or another probably due to some delay from the factory to KC).
Oct 30th got railcar assignment
Sat with the railcar assignment for about 3 weeks, showed in transit but eventually dropped off the CSX tracking even
Nov 20th showed back up on CSX with an intermediate city where the train passed through or stopped (I assume it finally left KC on the 19th (almost 3 weeks after loading onto the railcar)
Nov 21st arrived in Dallas
Dec 2nd Arrived at the dealer


Also, the estimated arrival window is basically the Vinview calculated arrival date +/- 3 days. The Vinview date doesnt seem to mean much, but once that date updates in vinview the ford website changes fairly quickly to reflect it.

Also, Ford and your dealer cannot do much (or at least Ford seems unwilling to do much, although they should be able to put some pressure on the shipping companies) as far as your dealer theres probably zero they can do.

With both dealer and chat saying "my" MME is still in KC, Union Pacific automated rail car tracing says the autorack carrying it has unloaded at ramp CH27, Mira Loma Intermodal yard, CA around 12/3/22. (Thanks to the two forum folks who were following the same rail car.) I emailed the dealer to look into it and give me an idea of "time to dealer" and prep time. He may get back to me in a week or so or whenever the MME shows up at the dealer.

Awesome, glad yours was a similar situation to mine where it looked like it was still in KC but actually was moving.

You should get it before the end of the year now I would expect!

Also... my dealer got mine ready in about 3 hrs from the time it arrived, which was quite good of them

He called 3 hours later to tell me that the MME I ordered a year ago was to be dropped off at the dealer this afternoon (12/6/22). The delivery appointment is set for a couple of days from now, although I may have picked it up 12/7/22, exactly 1 year after ordering. That's one anniversary I don't want to observe.

Congratulations! I just received another 1 week delay this morning but am hoping I am in a similar situation and the car will be delivered soon. Can't make sense of having a railcar number and the status showing as in-transit for 4 weeks now without it being close, but who knows...
