No sir. Just the original order with the replacement on 11/7 followed by a cancellation on 11/18. Zero emails on this also.

I got mine about a week ago. It was order #359. Haven't seen anything on the return/destruction instructions of the original one yet though.

They had people submitting fake request. It’s possible your real one got mixed up in the fake ones. So, assuming yours is real, probably worth reaching out to them.

I noted this language In the email I received after initiating my recall exchange:

Return Method: Instructions on how to safely dispose of the adapter will be provided upon shipping of your replacement adapter.

As is sometimes the case with Amazon exchanges. A2Z may simply tell us to throw our existing (recalled) units in the trash instead of sending them back.

I would consider that unusual, as I expect they would want to confirm that the recalled units are in fact destroyed. But maybe they know the “danger” of using the recalled units is basically nil, whereas the expense of paying return shipping for thousands of units would be major... ?‍♂

Amine, the CEO of A2Z, gave me a call. They are having a lot of people using pictures taken off ebay and Amazon to get free adapters. It was a good conversation with him and he took care of my replacement issue. Based on my experience with them, the company is doing the right things, but being taken advantage of by some nasty people. I feel the EV community should support them as they continue to do the right thing and resolve this for their customers.

No adapter for me. Did contact them they said "we got more than expected hang tight". Idk my order number.

This was after "we've planned for a robust response" when I contacted them before submitting.

There is a canada postal strike, they didn't mention it, but I have something else coming from our fine neighbor up north which is hung up.

Not bothered because my old one is still working great. Was really on the fence about even initiating.

In other news, my Ford-promised adapter is set to arrive in November, it's November 28th and no adapter.

Adapters are clearly cursed.

Question for those who have received their replacement adapters...

Did you get an email with the shipping confirmation or tracking number?

I received two back-to-back emails on 11/27 (1 week ago today). The first said the exchange request was approved. The second said the exchange was completed.

I haven't actually seen a tracking number.

I know they are very busy ... so I thought I'd ask those who received their replacement if they got a tracking number or if the replacement just showed up.

I did receive a tracking number but it was pretty worthless. It just showed up about a week or so after shipping.

Mine was a UPS tracking #. Which I guess that can be useless to some….tracked exactly the same as any other UPS package.

Another question for those who have received their replacement adapters...
Did you have to send a picture of the destroyed adapter before they sent you a tracking number? The video seems to imply they wanted the picture, but it wasn't clear if they would hold up shipping until they got the picture.
