Ken, since you changed the widget to use the official Ford API, you might want to change the following warning I got after downloading the app from Play:

"In the past few months, Ford has initiated suspension of FordPass accounts for users who access their vehicle data through unauthorized third party apps and/or websites. Some users of this app have reported this problem, although we have not been able to confirm it was the app which caused the suspension (many of this app's users have also use other third party apps/websites such as Recurrent). An ongoing discussion of this issues is available on the Mach-E forums.

When an account is suspended, you need to contact FordPass to have it reinstated. They will require you to disable or remove all unauthorized third party accounts before reinstating your account, and warn you that the next violation may result in a permanent suspension.

We have been trying to become an authorized app for a few months and although this has not happened yet we have made some progress. In the meantime, if you wish to keep using the app we make these recommendations:

Create an alternate FordPass e-mail account for this app to use. Instructions for doing so can be found at https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/search/How Do I Add Another User to My Connected Vehicle/ .
Increase the time between updates.
Avoid using the "remote" app features such as lock/unlock and start/stop. Do these through the FordPass app instead.
Be sure that forced refresh and automatic forced updates are disabled under Settings.
If you want to keep the app but feel uncomfortable using it until we receive authorization, enable "Hibernate app until public API is released" in Settings. This will cause the app to stop automatically refreshing data until the public API is implemented. Manual refreshes from the three-dot menu will still work. A notification will appear in the future to let you know all is well.

Well, none of that has changed. I'm still waiting for the public API to be released. This update is still using the FordPass API.

I have been told it has been released, so this is strange.
I've not received any updates from my contact at Ford since October. The details of the public API may been released, but they have not provided any details on how to get authentication from it.

Update: the second login also failed in Ford Pass, but it recovered with a "forgot password" process. Then that login also succeeded in the widget. Is it possible that an unused account would expire with Ford? All good now! Thanks for a great tool!!!

I don't know. I believe a token will expire after a long time, even with a refresh, but haven't has a password expire. Yet.

On my full size widget the vehicle photo is not displayed when selected, just the logo.
Does the widget show also when the updates are pending as it did before?

i normally use the middle-sized widget (which shows the vehicle image for me) but i added the full-sized one to test and it shows there for me.

I just verified the image URLs aren't valid anymore. You are probably seeing images because they had been downloaded a few months ago.

If someone does a DC Fast Charge, please update the widget status while charging and send me the logfile. I'm trying to figure out what info if any is in the JSON. I've found it for Level 2 charging but suspect it's different for DCFC. Thanks.

Edit: Never mind: I stopped by an EA station and grabbed some myself.
