Yeah I'll add to the list of happy Hankook iON evo AS tire owners. We are just over a year with 12k on our tires and there are absolutely no signs of wear at this point.

Huh. Well why the heck did the OP do that?
One of two things if I had to guess.
1. Thought he was getting the AS version that 99% of everyone on this forum get that have been very happy with the treadwear (and they have a 50K mile treadwear warranty).
2. Didn't know that summer tires (except select Michelin's) have NO treadwear warranty.

I bought 4x EV Hankook iON. They come with 0 warranty! And despite the reviews, they have to be replaced after less than 20,000 miles! I bought these in November and it's only March now. American Tire, where I bought them, says nothing they can do. Avoid like the plague!
I’ll add myself to list. These are great tires there wearing great there quieter than what came on car by 8 decimals I 7000 miles and they show no wear at this point

Well now I gotta go home and see which ones I bought. Pretty sure its the AS. But I wouldn’t mind if they weren’t since I drive a GT-PE and have Blizzaks for winter. They have been on the tire rack in the garage since October. This thread makes me question myself.

@SightUp, pls edit the thread title to correct it. It is not fair to the tire company that you’re making a claim not based on logic.

Same for me. 18 months with 15,000 miles and very little wear.

You probably bought summer (not All season) iON EVO's tires which DO NOT come with a treadwear warranty. Only select Michelin summer tires come with treadwear warranties and they are usually only around 30K miles
If so, and he ran them November to March in Nebraska, then no wonder he destroyed the treads!

I thought that running winter tires in summer destroyed the tread quickly because the winter tires are a very soft compound made even softer by summer temps. I did not know that the reverse was true, i.e. running summer tires in winter destroyed them. I would guess that they would just become very hard and slippery in the winter without much impact on the treadwear characteristics.

Let's make a more productive thread with all the happy EVO AS owners piling in....

What was your range decrease? Or increase?

I know it's hard to say, seasons, styles, but long term yall probably have a feel.... Yeah?

( At 36k on my oem tires, will be considering new in the next 6 months i think )

The Pirelli P Zeros specifically state to not use below 45 degrees AND not store below 20 degrees. Tires crack, and chunks come out.
