Bluecruise stopped working?

Same issue with me after the latest BlueCruise update with the fine tuning I engaged it went Blue for a sec and then said put hands on the wheel. Before that Blue Cruise rarely worked, I would get message it's a BlueCruise road I would engage, and it would always say keep hands on the wheel. of the 15 or more times I tried BlueCruise it maybe worked 2 times.

Super frustrating. BC worked flawlessly for nearly 3 weeks - all the way from San Diego to Sonoma, but on the trip home on I-5 nothing - adaptive cruise only despite message at startup that it’s on.

no updates, nothing changed, tried restarting (both car and reset Sync), no effect.

guess this is a call to the dealer tomorrow

many thanks for pointing me there !! Yup, I’m one of the folks who hasn’t gotten the update. Sucks that it happened on my first long haul trip!!

I did the volume down on steering wheel and forward track and a couple days later BC started working again. Alexa voice command still not working though.

I got the 2.8.3 update on my Job 1 car roughly 2.5 weeks ago. Had been using bluecruise every day up until a couple days ago. I took a trip for a doctor's appointment up i-65 about 2.5 hours and it stayed engaged the entire time. On the way home I turned on the cruise control, got the bluecruise is on popup/warning thing on the IP, and it went into bluecruise for a brief moment and then said put hands on wheel. It never let me take hands off after that, and now I've been unable to get it to engage ever again, even on roads I know it's worked on. It also gives me the watch the road warning still on every road i have regular cruise on for. Any ideas? I haven't been around the forums much lately, so sorry if this is known issue.

Same here. After I went in the for recall software update I've never had hands-free bluecruise (which I've ALWAYS had since the day I picked up my car). Known roads, etc. It's at the dealer now and I've mentioned it. Clearly feels like my BC software was back-revved.

Lately the Ford Pass updates have been disabling BlueCruise. 2 out of the last 3 did it to me..

FordPass app updates have nothing to do with BlueCruise working or not. Coincidence not causation. Or did you mean Power-Up OTAs?
