lol. Just like you said. I have to constant eff with it because the hands on indicator lights up 25 times during my 15 mile commute, then "hands-off available" and Im like... OK guess I'll do that then. Back and forth I go... hardly worth it. That and its inability to merge or behave correctly when changing lanes... all I do is watch it screw up. More like a party trick. Autopilot was so much better, if I didnt own a Tesla before this car I might not even notice. But I did. And BC is abysmal. With the latest BlueCruise update, the "BlueCruise is available" toast has popped up a lot. I don't use BC very often, but wanted to see how it behaved with the enhancements. It's better, moves a little to give semis some room, seems a little smoother on speed changes, that sort of thing.
While letting it run for a few miles, two thoughts occurred to me- 1) It's more stressful to watch what it's doing than it is to do it myself; b) I don't have much of anything to do if I'm not driving.
B) led me to a question for the heavy BC-use crowd: What do you do while BlueCruise is on?
That's a bridge too far.Try Whisper...it takes the edge off
I also hated zucchini until I tried it….That's a bridge too far.
I've tried stinky tofu. Still don't like it.I also hated zucchini until I tried it….

I could be wrong but I think you can turn off predictive speed assist. I think that’s what it’s called. I’m still on 1.0 because I took a chance on buying a First Edition. The BC is more refined but I was surprised when driving on 2 lane highways, it would slowdown on corners and going into round-a-bouts. Hope in the future they make the correction user adjustable.
