I'm kinda wondering if it finishes the charge session to 90% then, because I told it to charge anytime, it just starts a new charge session immediately from 90 to 100%. Maybe? I don't have any times set because I don't have a time of day rate plan.
Do you have a schedule programed that tells it to charge to 90% at the location you are plugged in at? If so time should have no impact to that constraint. Two separate independent variables Time and SOC. Both should be honored at all times.

Congratulations! You have just discovered "Cannonball Mode". Perfect for those fast cross-continent runs. :D
Charge often at 6KW. ?

I didn't discover it Nyland also mentioned it in the 2+ hour part of his live stream. In the part where he charges the car from 82 to 100% at a DCFC in over 2 hours. Just a feeling you may get even more range out of the MME if you let it sit for a couple of hours on your L2 after it hits a 100% then just unplugging when it gets to 100% at a DCFC. 100% is a pretty useless number as you are limited to 80% on your return trip which will govern.

He mentions his schedule didn't work also; think in his winter range test vid? Not easy being green. ??

The only thing I have set is “charge anytime” and charge to 90% for the location “home.”

If my general experiences with myFordPass hold true, it will probably work the next time I try. Seems like everything seems to take a few days to gel.

Then it should charge any time to 90% if that is what you have told it to do. Hoping for a few days to gel for you and not a few months.

I have discovered that if (and only if) I plug my car in when it is on, it will then wait until 8 pm (as I have scheduled it to) to begin charging. It will ignore my direction to charge only to 80% and goes up to 100% instead. The one time it did charge to 80% was when I got home late and plugged in after 8. Let me know if plugging in with the car on works for anyone else.

Please elaborate. You come home at 5 and leave it on (running) until 8 (on all the time) or you only leave it on until it is plugged in and then shut it down.

Mine resets after reaching 80% and charges to 100%.
Mine reset if I stop charging and charges to 100%.
Does not hold all the time at any stage and charges to 100% .

Tried plugging it in as you note when on and then shutting it off and the app said it would hold but it did not. Flashing on charge port normally means it is charging.

Here is the logic I get after plugging in when on (note the same time stamp).

Sorry I wasn't specific enough! I get to the charging screen while the car is on then get out and plug in. Once inside I turn the car off. My charger flashes the charging light for several minutes then stops flashing. The screen says it will wait until 8 to charge and charge only to 80%. Then I can get out of the car. It will charge to 100% regardless. Once I forgot my phone in the car and had to go back and get it. As soon as I touched the button to open the door the car started charging! I have a case number with a Ford customer experience specialist and I am hoping she will be able to help get to the bottom of this.

Sounds like we are in the same boat. Bit of a pain this manual charging but a bit better now that it is not freezing. 120V and a slow charge when it is cold is better that just cranking it up to 100% on L2 I have found. That is all I have learnt from the non-functioning charging schedule in the last 3 months.

When you get a fix let me know as it should be a fix for me also one would think (I will do the same). I was told by my dealer that Ford had just solved another problem (no L2 charging?) and now have time to work on others? Not like ours is not important he noted but at least we have L2 charging just no control over it.

I have got it to hold on every stage but always resets and always charges to 100%. Ya don't touch it it is bound to reset if you do that ;). I would just give up as it is completely non-functional here and it is obvious the fix needs to come from the clouds.

I want to ask you guys a question. I have not setup my profile yet since I haven't been driving the car much yet. I noticed that the home address is wrong on the app, it recognizes my neighbors house as the current address (we're semi-detached homes). Do I need to setup my neighbors address as my home address in order for my schedule to work properly? I didn't check the car's address yet.

Gr8 to here you are one of the gang ?

Between the car and the phones the addresses here are close to a km apart. The car comes up with coordinates (when you first add the location) which it should send to fordpass and be used I would guess? Not many with this problem and I do not think addresses mean too much other than for the users view. You can name the location anything you want. I thought it was geographical for me and lack of infrastructure but one in LA and Ford noted one in Dearborn so now not sure. You should be fine most are.

Similar problem for me.
Home address works with no issue.
When I try to setup the work address, the app says a different location than the car. I can’t save the address to set charge limit. I end up having to keep checking the charge progress and stop the charge in the app.
Not sure if it’s because the car is parked underground 2 levels in a parking garage.
I have full cell service down there.

Parked out in the open and has cell service here. So stop charging from the app works for you? Mine does not obey stop charging, will start charging on its own again and will charge to 100%. The only way to stop it from going to 100% is unplugging it.

Yes the stop charge worked. But the car couldn’t figure out the address at the parking garage.

Went in for the second time for the problem of Car ignores charging schedule!. Got it back and it is still not fixed ( 2.5 days in the shop no updates). The ford team told the dealer to change the SOBDM-C module. Have no idea what it does but it was explained it is resetting (going to sleep)? Two day job ripping apart the arse end of my new factory assembled vehicle.

After 4 months with this problem it is still progressing and ford is helping to fix it. I really hope this does it. 4 times (12V) in 5 months is a bit much with the understanding that one of the pros was no service. Not giving it up but damn karma. Can't get mad at anyone sh!~t happens just need it fixed before it gets cold again.

Here is some good news about fordpass 3.24. You can monitor the charging. Tuesday it went into my service center for the replacement. It went in at 26% and at around 2:30 yesterday it was plugged in and charged (100% target) to 40%. Around 4:30 it said waiting to charge (new for my app) At 7 PM it started charging with target 80% (new for my app) this morning I had a notification that Karma has charged to 80% as per my charge setting (new for my app). Popup charge complete so I am guessing it is still plugged in and not going to 100% (new for my car). All this I know and never bugged my service guy. If it works here also and see no reason it will not things are looking up this morning. I asked and they indicated they will throw the paak recall in there also since it was in. R n R I think.
