Awesome! Do you have any information about a number/title for the update?

Wondering if I called my local dealer how I could help them find it.
Don't have the specific update. The tech would need to call his Ford Field Service Tech who could walk him thru what needs the update.

That's very helpful to post as I knew it involved updating a number of modules. The tech this morning did mention about an SSM coming out soon. I'd have preferred it to be OTA, but this worked out just as well.

Heads up to everyone. Got a call from the BEV team friday. They have a software update (it's not available OTA at present) is in the system. I've just returned from the dealer, I was in and out in hour and a half. They offered to keep the car and try charging it, I opted to bring it home and just use my scheduled charging tonight and see how it works. Fingers crossed this will be the fix!!!
Awesome! Do you know the name of the update or what I should tell my dealer here?

Frank posted above about what modules need to be updated. Ford hasn't issued a service message about it yet. The tech at your dealership would need to speak to the field service engineer for guidance.

HALLELUJAH!! It worked. Charging shutoff when it reached my 90% threshold, also got a message in fordpass saying "had reached charging level"

Yay! I guess I’ll need to make an appointment.

Amazing! So happy for you. You've both waited much longer than me and I'm so glad to hear there is a fix out there. Hopefully everyone gets access soon. Thanks for sharing!

Mach-Lee: Thank you for making the connection -- I was not aware of the other thread. Yes this sounds like exactly the issue that I am having. I will follow-up with my local dealer as you suggest.
As an update, I did contact Ford OTA team directly and received a case (CAS) number; the rep at Ford OTA could see the update I received on Dec 4 and agreed that was likely the cause of the issue. I brought that CAS number to my local dealer and after three days (including the HV contactor recall repair), they returned my MachE and it appears that L2 charging is working normally again. Thank you again to Mach-Lee and others on this forum!

Ya know, I havn't gotten a charge level reached message in many a month, then got 1 in January. Wonder if I never noticed the pump still running.

Yes, it completely shut off and blue light turned off which is as it should be.
Out if curiosity does it still hum while charging? I know you said the hum stopped when charging finished, but curious about noise during the charge cycle.

Nope, mine is now working as it should with no him after charge completion.
