Cross wind rattle ... Anyone else?

Would you guys try adding foam to these points? I had the rattle this morning (lightly) and added here and could no longer hear the rattle after. Need more data points.

Small squares set right next to the snap fasteners.

I was just about to go on a drive after doing it ... thanks for bursting my bubble, confirming all hope is lost and forcing us to submit to the evil rattle!

Also got the foam around the roof and windshield and still rattle. Press on the bumpers by the side air vent right in front of tire. Squeaks pretty good...wonder if that could be it?

Well, whatever they did to my front end seems to have fixed my rattle *knock on wood* It was pretty windy here in Southern California and I take a pretty elevated toll road to work that always makes my car rattle.

After my front end was replaced, it seems the rattle is gone. This should hopefully narrow it down for you folks. They replaced the bumper, passenger fender, passenger headlight. NOTHING done to the hood, windshield, interior, etc. I would say that the louvres being the cause now sounds like an odd possibility, as I can't think of there being anything else they switched out that could have been causing it.

Sounds like 73 to me ...

Thanks for letting us know. I know I have discounted the louvers. I'm not sure how to test those short of possibly putting a go-pro up there and seeing if I can isolate it with that.

Compared to the regular MME. Quite a bit different! Sandy would be pissed at all the extra hoses!

For me I can only really hear it on the driver's side...and only seems to happen with crosswind hitting driver's side.

It was resting against the cowl so pretty much any movement there makes a noise and it sounds just like what I hear...and the fender has an opening right there to the wheel well so the cross wind would hit it.

Dunno...I adjusted the cable taught and then taped it all the way down to the front of the car so it wouldn't have any movement. Will have to see (and probably be disappointed)

this entire thread, I've thought, "huh, never noticed anything like this on my car" - but it's a First Edition aka Premium-with-Bits. If it's only GTs that would explain it. I haven't been in a GT / GT PE...

I've even messed a little with pressing lightly on the frunk lid etc. and never noticed anything.
