I've noticed that too on the weekends when I don't have departure times set up. I'd chalked it up to temperature differences from when charging terminates at approx 1 am to when I drive it after the sun is up a while. I've only had the car two months, and haven't gotten any software update notifications yet, so I assume it has the same versions it was built with in August 2024.
I was thinking it may be about departure times too. However It only happens after it has been charged to 90% in my case. I just got this note back from the dealer " the technician is needing to contact engineering because there are no codes for the concern and are needing to wait for their response "

It has been in since Thursday

A full precondition takes 2 kwh at 36F per my evse. If the battery and cabin heat happen on battery alone during a 5 mile trip that's a significant hit also. None of this matters in daily practice, as I use less than 20 kwh a day for my commute. On trips, that 2 kwh might matter more but I'd never have a route plan that hinges on 91 kwh vs 89 kwh. It's an extra 90 seconds at a DCFC.

So I've run a couple tests while trying to figure out the variables. I have both preconditioned on the wire and cold started after charging to 90%. I have also taken the same route to work multiple times after the initial 3-5% drain and before.

The initial results seem that when charging the car thinks it has hit 90% when in fact it is at around 85%. Just observations right now.

Anyone had this update completed yet? This will be the first time our '24 has been in for anything. Our appointment is on March 7th.

i just got it done this morning. took them about 2.5 hours but i'm sure most of that time was spent waiting for the tech to free up.

Is there way to know if the updated was applied?

i assume the only way to get the various module software versions is to ask FDRS. there is a thread here where people post their VIN numbers and various forum members that have an FDRS account check the VIN and dump out whatever info is available there. but i'm not sure if the online FDRS is the same as hooking up to the car directly with FDRS, or if it can provide all the same information.

you can also buy a 2-day FDRS license for $50 if you want to do it yourself.

the documentation my dealer gave me states that t 25B03 was applied and the SOBDM software was updated per the 25B03 technical info. unless they lied i don't have any reason to doubt this.

Took my 24 premium RWD extended range to the dealer for this update. They had trouble getting the updates installed in the modules so I have to try again on Friday. The service guys said they thought it was a “Ford network problem”, but I do not really know what that means.
