+1 on this one out of the OP choices and depending on what they class as 'fun' it would be hard to look past the m4. My GTPE does its best to hide the weight but it still steers and handles like a bus in comparison to the Focus RS it replaced and would even have trouble keeping up with my FWD Focus ST down some of my favorite twisty back roads, the saving grace is EV instant torque until the party pooper power limitations kick in.Also... this applies to the Mach-E also. You may not want a heavy EV.
I much prefer the handling of lighter RWD EVs like the Model 3 RWD and Mach-E RWD Standard Range over the chunkier/fatter bigger siblings like the Model Y and Mach-E ER or GT. These heavy EVs handle like fat bricks.
At the original launch price with x-plan the incentives and the full tax credit and if the 5 second limitations where not something that you would encounter in your typical day to day use cases, then I would give the GTPE a consider it recommendation, but with the prices increases I would say the 5 second limitations is a deal breaker compared to the performance competition.
Also with the bmw for the premium price you get premium cabin materials while with Ford not so much.
