Door Fault service required notification

First of all I love my 23 mache gt. Got a door Fault service required. Push ok and it goes away until I restart car again. Dealership says they can not find a fix for it. So now they are going to try using recent updates to find a fix. I know it's early yet but I'm getting this sinking guy feeling if you know what I mean. Has anyone else had this issue?

I hope Ford can help you with this. I have had two Mach-Es and they have both had this message. In both cases my dealer knew what to do and quickly fixed it with a new part.

Mine is in the shop for this error message RIGHT NOW. They are replacing one of the door latch mechanisms.

My driver door latch failed last week, Tuesday. I heard a sound after I opened it and it was thereafter dead. No light, no function (had to open from inside).
The door latch module was the culprit and they also had to replace the fuse supplying it. The part took a day to come in and the overall fix, with a Charge Port recall software update took 2.5 days. This is kind of in the too complicated for reliability category ;)

NOTE NOTE NOTE: In my case the car was certain that the door was still open, even when closed. This made driving it very tricky. After initial warnings about the door fault, it would complain any time the car came to a complete stop: "Transmission not in Park, Parking Brake On".. SO IT ACTIVATED THE PARKING BRAKE automatically at any full stop. You have to press the foot brake, turn OFF the parking break, and then you can hit the accelerator to move. Once you get the hang of it, not too bad. But I got stuck in traffic the first time until I figured it out. ;)

My car is also in the shop for the same issue. My one peeve is that anytime I bring my car in for warranty service it takes two days. The first day to confirm there is an issue and order parts and the second day to recieve the parts and actually perform the service.

Right rear door catch faulted after my HVBJB recall. Cost over £500. Just WHY can’t they find the problem??‍♂

Something tells me these door latches are going to be a problem in the future owning a 2021. I can see that happening soon. They are just inexpensive plastic.

I just got the same error randomly today. I do notice the driver door unlatches put the motor afterwards is delayed a few seconds and sounds weaker than the other doors

I fear I’ll be charged to have this taken care of and I’m not happy about it.

I had this issue a few months ago. Dealer fixed it quickly said it was a loose ground.
