Why not drive the MME a bit to give a real accurate accounting of it? 300 miles vs 5,000, I'd most definitely bet you'd favor everything the Kia has as that's become your daily driver. I did almost 300 miles right after I bought my MME, that's no way enough time to know which is better all around.
Definitely. Don't take me wrong. Mach-E is a very fine car and I am not letting it go. I am keeping both the cars.

The way Mach-E handles the media on USB drive is a plus compared to EV6. I have folders of music on a USB drive. On EV6 every time I select a folder to play, it will move to the next folder once songs are done in the selected folder since I don't have the repeat option set. This is expected. But once I restart the car, it will just keep repeating the previously playing folder. This is very annoying. I know this is not something that came up in EV6 since it was the same behavior in my GV80 as well.

Also, Mach-E has 2 media USB ports along with wireless AA/CarPlay, whereas EV6 only has 1 and no wireless AA/CarPlay making it very difficult to use both the AA and media from USB.

Took some pix of the an EV6 next to my MME. EV6 sits lower.

Not sure about the actual measurements. But when I am in the car it feels like both sit at the same height. EV6 has a lower roofline than MME which makes it look lower. EV6 looks wider. I believe that is due to the design lines

You have the Wind trim? The GT-Line's sunroof eats about 1-2" of interior headroom and it feels even cramped. Both EV6 and Ioniq 5 have low rooflines. I have to duck my head a little when entering both.

The EV6 does look wider but specs say 74" and the Model Y is 76" with folded mirrors but visually the Y is narrower. Hmmm...

You have two of the most sought after EVs in your stable. Not jelly at all. Nope. lol.

I have the GL-Line AWD. Even with the wider sunroof, it isn't same as MME headroom. Yes, my wife was saying the same thing. We have the two most sought after cars in our driveway

Wow, no wireless Carplay?!

My son just bought a Kia Forte and it has wireless Carplay...

I can't believe they did not include wireless AA/CP. I think maybe supply issues...

The rumor is, they have the hardware in the car but not enabled in the software. If that is the case then it is not the supply issue. But it is a problem for wife who mostly prefer the CarPlay. I prefer the in-built navigation and have been rolling with in-built navigation in all of the cars I have owned so far

Even the Telluride doesn't have wireless AA/CP and that SUV has kitchen sink of features. It's the same system as the EV6.

I think the previous/lower gen of hardware had it.

Hyundai/Kia are moving to Nvidia Drive... one of the first being the Genesis GV60.

Really struggling with the choice between these two. I have a MME ER AWD premium, and an EV6 GT-line AWD on order which I haven’t decided whether or not to actually purchase. I am tempted to sell the MME just to take the second tax rebate on the EV6. But, I really like the MME, and they have different pros and cons. I love the openness of the cabin and better daylight from the glass roof / headroom of the MME. It has more storage, and a better sound system, and I believe blue cruise is better on the highways. I like the look of both cars, but think the MME looks better. The cabin feels very upscale as well. I have a child on the way, and I think it’ll be easier to get her into and out of a MME.

On the other hand, the suspension isn’t great, and I hear this is much better in the EV6. The EV6 is also slightly faster 0-60, fast charges in half the time, has a heat pump, VENTILATED SEATS (I live in the south), V2L, lane watch cameras for changing lanes.

I got my MME at MSRP. My EV6 order is 1K over MSRP, which was the best I could find a few months ago. I think I will probably end up taking the EV6 just for that second tax credit, but man, it’s a really hard choice.

The EV6 and MME are so similar in many ways it's a sideways move. Especially since you have a Premium AWD ER. You downgrade on the stereo + BC for fast charging + slightly better suspension (not worldly better). Oh, the real world range of the EV6 is definitely less... smaller battery (77 kWh) and only slightly more efficient which doesn't compensate for the battery size reduction. However it handles a little better from the test drives I've had IMO.

If you want to try something new... sure. As long as it make sense financially. EV6 at 1K over is actually a great deal. I haven't seen anything below $4K personally.

I would not have bought it without. It was a major factor for me to choose the Mach-e over Tesla, among others...

I test drove the EV6 on local roads, and it didn't seem much different compared to the MME (I do have the RWD, with 18" rims and very tall sidewall tires). Also, note it doesn't fast charge in "half" the time; it doesn't hit 300kW (which is 2x the 150kW peak of the MME), and it only works when the pack temperature is just right (take a look at the Out Of Spec race with the Ioniq 5).

Ventilated seats are nice, though. And I quite liked the AR HUD.

The range on EV6 is now around 220 when I charge up to 80%, so that puts the 100% range around 275. Less than maybe what a MME can do, but more than my body could handle in a single drive. You more than make up for it with faster charging if longer distances are of interest. If you are going to drive long distances the Ionic/EV6 are going to be noticeably less time charging and more time driving.

I think the hands free driving stuff in the EV6 ain't bad - it keeps you in the lane, auto follows, will go down to a stop.... and it does it on any and all roads. You can remove your hands for brief periods of time.

The suspension is more than "slightly" better in the EV6 (at least if you do not have magneride).

The radio on the EV6 is not good, and the interior materials do not seem like a high end EV.

I just recently re-drove a GT MME (non perf edition), and was kind of taken back how much better the EV6 drives. The EV6 is a calm and confident drive, the mustang was unsettled.

Still a decent chance I end up trading EV6 for MME, but thought it might help to hear from someone who is living with an EV6 now.

It is half the time because the EV6 battery is a good deal smaller, it's not just the charging rate.
