Yeah, this is what has made glancing at this to check if it actually locked the doors not actually useful. Whether it’s the HomeKit integration or the widget, it doesn’t give an accurate status all the time.
Yeah, that’s one of my pet peeves with the car. I really wish it would update its status without having to be woken up, even if it’s only once an hour or something. For a while, there was verbiage in the “your car is asleep” message that said that there would be an update that would allow the car to report its status even when sleeping. That verbiage was later removed, so not sure if that‘s ever going to happen.

Not sure what the difference is then. I have mine set to use beta releases. Maybe that's the difference?

Its weird, because I was never getting the driver side door open notification in Ford Pass on the main screen, but now I do and it takes forever to clear. I wonder if a server/Ford Pass update changed this? But it is definitely annoying that the widget tool, which is no fault of the widget tool since the car doesn't update like you said, just shows the car unlocked with a door open for hours. It is also dumb that FP itself doesn't tell you if the car is locked or unlocked! Seems like it would be so easy to just highlight the Unlock and Lock "actions" in FP so you know that's the current status.
Done that (repeatedly). Same results as before. Frankly, I've given up on the widget for now.
Sorry to hear. Setting up a new instance worked for me. Perhaps blow away the scriptable engine and start from zero?
