My car was out of order with the updates like this. I received 1.6 and nothing about SecuriAlert showed up in the app. Then a few days later I got 1.4 and it showed up in the app.

Does that mean I’m now on 1.4 and will at some point get 1.6 again…? ?
I see the version for the Ford Pass app but where do I see the 1.4 and 1.6?

That's Ford's new name for OTAs for the car. 1.6 is the latest that has been reported. However they are not cumulative and do not necessarily get pushed to the vehicle in numerical order. For instance, my car got an unnamed OTA on 7/26 (the day I took delivery), then 1.6 about a week later, then 1.4 a week after that. ?‍♂
The primary function of the OTAs thus far has been updating the Gateway Module (GWM) and improving network communication/handshaking between vehicle modules.

You may be able to see it on the big screen in the car. Go to 'Settings', 'System Updates', then the last option on that page. I forget what it's called, but it is pretty obvious. For a period of time after your car has received an update that page will give you some info about it. At some point it seems to change to 'your car is up to date' or something like that.

My FordPass app won’t even open anymore. It was working fine until last night. Now it just shows the white screen with blue oval and then crashes and closes. I don’t want to uninstall and reload it as I’m away from home and won’t be able to set Paak back up. Hopefully Paak at least works when I get back to the airport.
Try disabling Bluetooth before launching Fordpass.

What is interesting is that it looks like the way I can tell that an update has been pushed, my main screen goes from Black background to white background. Where in the can can I get a list of updates?

I don't think it is supposed to, but mine also changed themes on the big screen after the last update. The manual only talks about the 'down arrow with the check mark' icon after a successful OTA update. ?‍♂

Just got it. Seems pretty peppy. Here's hoping it fixed battery drain on Android.
It would be helpful if forum members would explain with more detail.

1. What is purpose FordPass 3.28, to fix what features,?

2. Not sure I understand what this software update has to do with Android phone battery drain.

It appears to go from Dark setting to Auto. My guess is that Auto is there defaut when they download new code. I'm a Firmware guy. Sounds like something I would do.

Actually, I don't have an issue with it. It's a good indicator that the update occured... :)

For me no popup in the FP app with charging details when plugged in. When setting charging in app no response from fordpass error returned. Went on for a week. Is that your problem?

Vehicle, settings, conductivity, conductivity features, top tab enable conductivity or something like that. Toggle off It says you will lose your phone yada yada (temp) and then back on and all was back for me. Charging sync'd in app and the charging details popup in the app came back. If the above is your problem maybe worth a try. Let us know if it works for you.
Shayne - Tried your "reset" procedure - no luck. I found that I had to switch "on" several of the connectivity switches back on below the top tab after I had toggled the top tab "vehicle connectivity" (I think it is). Apparently after switching the top tab off and back on, the lower tabs defaulted to "off" position. Anyway, FordPass still is not working - beyond giving me the odometer reading and battery charge state, and even that is sluggish. Do you know how to "refresh" the FordPass app screen on the phone? I'm using Android, by the way.

Bummer worked for me and a couple of others. Pull down your vehicle screen with your thumb you should get a donut spinning. May have to do it a few times to refresh.
