i took the plunge and found the one that disables the seatbelt warning chime when you start the car before you've put on your seatbelt. i just tested it and it's absolute bliss.

in FORScan it's in the "IPC Configuration" (not the As-Built), search for "seatbelt", and select the "Seatbelt Warning Market". it should say "USA" on our US market cars. if you edit it to "Europe" the seatbelt chime on startup w/o buckling goes away.

here is mine after the change:

the FORScan configuration routine changes quite a few variables in 720-01-01 and 720-01-02 so would be a bit more difficult trying to do it via the As-Built/direct access method.

i also changed the chimes similar to @TJSparky above but left my passenger side minder alone:

these along with disabling the double-honk have tamed my MME noisy nanny and i'm much happier now. ?
These directions were an absolute life saver. I don’t hate my car anymore after changing these & getting rid of the double honk on exit thru the BCM. Driving this car with factory settings is an absolute nightmare when you need to do simple things like back out of a garage & then load a toddler in the back. Thank you!! ?

Is there a way to disable just the front sensors when the car is in reverse using FORscan?

I am sick of the car beeping at me because it sees a curb in the front of the car despite knowing that I intend to move backwards ?

Curious - I have warranty work for my car coming up (passenger door button not lighting up and lock button not working) and I was wondering if there is a way for the dealer to see the mods that have been made?

None of the mods that i have made are related to the the issue that I'm have, but is there a risk of a dealer not doing warranty work? Do the mods void the warranty?

Thanks

^^^ No but if a module gets updated you may loose your coding and have to reprogram it.
Great to know. Thanks for the info. I really didn't want to change the settings back lol

I really enjoy your videos too BTW!

I’ve been reading for other Ford models, there is a way to disable the factory EQ settings using FORscan. Apparently it makes the sounds clearer.

Is that an option for the Mach-E? If so, has anyone done it and does it really make a difference?

Thanks

If I understood correctly, you want the og/unmodded values from EU version?

This is from EU MY21 job2 GPTE:

Neil, I have a 2021 Job 2 and it works perfect. You need to change TWO lines in the HCM

734-01-01 xxxx xxx1 xx-- Change the last digit in the second set to "1"
734-01-04 00BC 1612 Change both the first and second sets of digits to "00BC 1612"
@markboris, on this - I really cannot tell whether my '22 has this enabled or not. If I pull up these lines in the HCM on Forscan, will it already be set to 1 and 00BC 1612 if it's enabled from the factory? May 22 build date.

Jeff, yes if you pull up those lines in the HCM and they are set to that then you have it enabled. I've had to modify both '21 & '22 MME's changing those two lines to get this feature to work.

Seems to have an SSL cert mismatch, which I can easily click past.
