Got my email yesterday with most of you, but I have decided to convert downward to a fully loaded Select instead. I originally went for a GT because I want all the tech stuff, no glass roof and Grabber Blue.

But @Murse-In-Airy has turned my head around with how gorgeous Shadow Black can be and I can buy a LOT of stripe for the $12K difference in price. Maybe even a little left over if I just have to upgrade stereo components, though I will be reading all the stuff @markboris does to his MME.

For that price difference you can wrap the whole car in a different color of your choice every couple of years for the next 6 years.

It qualifies, but has no incentives.
Has this been published? Or do you know something we don't.

If 0.9% isn't offered that's like 3-5K more right off the bat unless paying cash. Add $1K or whatever for 360 and the GT is sitting at potentially over $12,000 more compared to a premium. I just don't think that's going to be palatable for a lot of people. Not for a crossover. It was already questionable at $6-7K.

The premiums I have driven felt quick. I'm tempted to just finance a premium, buy a sunshade, take the 20 miles of range and extra sidewall as a bonus, and put 7K in dogecoin or buy a Honda Grom or something.

Which reminds me, does anyone know for sure that they didn't drop the acoustic glass in the GT to save weight?

I logged in to my MCA account clicked on the xplan page for the Mach E and under “incentives” it says N/A for the GT. There are other people on this forum who have posted pictures of the Xplan for the various trim levels for the Mach E

The feedback I'm getting from 'my' SE MI dealer is we'll order the GTP Wed with whatever available options I want. Upon delivery we'll determine available incentives and review payment options... cash, Ford Options (residual value and APR), conv auto loan, etc. To avoid any Sept Oct delivery surprise I'll get their assurance in writing there will be no dealer mark-up.
Has anyone heard anymore information about these late 2021 deliveries being titled as 2022 models?

What makes the GTP faster than the GT? It seems the GTP gets the magneride but that doesn’t make it faster. So what does since they have the same motors. Just software or heavier wiring?

According to the latest brochure an “Enhanced Performance electric front motor” in addition to a lower curb weight from the lighter Ford Performance front seats and maybe the wheels?

I have a feeling the GT will qualify for something similar to the other models, They just don't have anything official yet since you can't even order the car yet.

On the reservation page it show a default 5% interest rate on everything, which is usually what I've seen on other cars that don't have any current incentives. Once its closer to time for people to actually being able to purchase, I bet you'll see some actual financing numbers for it.

Here's the official letter sent from Ford to dealers:

Hello EV Leads and Dealer Principals, The 2021 Mustang Mach-E Job 2 (including Mustang Mach-E GT) order bank, order guide, and price list will launch on the afternoon of Monday, April 26th*. Customers will be invited to convert Mustang Mach-E GT Reservations on April 28th. There are two actions required of EV Certified dealers that will ensure a smooth transition to Job 2:

Action 1: Revisit Mustang Mach-E pricing rules in VL Plus. Please reference the attached letter and guide for more details.

Action 2: Accept any outstanding customer Orders Requiring Attention in the Online Order Acceptance Portal. (go to WBDO > Useful Links > Online Order Acceptance Portal > Customer Handling > Orders Requiring Attention > Accept)

*For Mustang Mach-E GT Reservation customers: Some customers may believe that they can ensure an earlier build date by placing a new retail order and cancelling their reservation. This is not true. New retail GT orders will likely be scheduled into the ‘22MY. The best way for customers to get their vehicle as soon as possible is to follow the intended reservation-to-order process

New GT order scheduled to the Model 22 year? I wonder when that will start as of. Might not be a bad thing for resale value. On the other hand does that hint that the order to build to deliver of the preorders may be relatively fast compared to the launch? hmm...

2021 MME GTs will unicorns. Not many of them can be made in the last few months of the year before the '22s start.
