Am I not printing this right? I can’t seem to get the negative/positive holes aligned to drill them correctly. I’m slightly off

when I print it out, I put it at custom scale 100%. Not sure if the margins on/off
Make a difference but this is what I’m getting for mine

To be quite honest, the template creator made this template so it's not center over the battery posts anyway. I would align one, drill, align the other, then drill it.

Since they're not centered anyway if it's a 1/4 inch off it won't make much of a difference.

I think I will put a 45A Powerpole connector under the headlight adjuster cover on my car for charging and flashing use.
I was going to put a Piper jump receptacle on my car then I found this:

Unfortunately, today I dropped the red vinyl cover into the hole for the window washer neck. It's probably not necessary since it has the big plastic cover, but I'm trying to see if I can buy another one. LOL. ??

Thanks for the help! Slightly off with the positive terminal, but still worked out just fine.

Would folks be interested in 3d printed plug covers with the + and - embossed in them? Should be straightforward to model and make.
I'll answer from my point of view ... I wouldn't, but I can't speak for everyone. It's really not something that I want to draw attention to, so the stock plugs work well. For those that saved the + and - there's really no need to and if it's directly centered the - is still there, it's just the + that gets removed.

Other people can chime in, but that's my vote.

Sounds like a great idea.

I would. If you design one would you be willing to share the STL file?

Thanks for the shout-out, but it wasn't originally my idea. I saw it elsewhere on the forum. FWIW, I did not remove any of the plastic shrouding. I just lined up the holes by sight based on other people's pictures and used a two-inch hole saw. Easy-peasy.
I eyeballed mine too without removing plastic shrouding. Negative was directly over connection point and positive was slightly off but will work fine.

can someone try a test fit? it's sized for a 50mm (2") hole.
there's a small retention lip that should help snap it into place
