What I meant by the blocks being just inside the lift points is that the crossbeam is not wide enough to fit right under the lift points that Ford recommends to jack up the car. The crossbar places the blocks just inside on each one (closer to the center) however this allows you to place both jack stands directly under where Ford wants the car to be supported.
Thanks for the cross beam info, that looks very handy.

Am I correct in assuming that the entire length of the strip between the front and rear lift points is reinforced, ie. frame structure?

I used to discuss this with @Benjamin Kegele , he made some good videos about lifting the car. and I talked with the team as well, it seems the general jack pads work for the MME. please let me know if I'm wrong
Honestly I haven't seen any decent jack pads other than cutting 2x4 wedges. I'd buy them. But maybe I'm alone and thus we will never get a reasonably well made option.

Yes. After a nice drive in winter in Michigan, our floor is very wet.
I can understand that. I have a friend in Evergreen Colorado and he has these plastic liners that have short sides on his garage floor so when he pulls in and the snow melts it stays just in that area. I can see that being a problem if you have a lot of snow like where you are also.

I don't have as much snow as you do. We only get a few inches to a foot at a time so I get much less water in my garage. I have the floor covered with RaceDeck Free Flow grids in the middle section under the cars for snow or water (from washing the car or rain) to melt/drop down into then the outer section of the RaceDeck flooring is solid with their carpet top. That traps most of the water and keeps it confined to that area under the car so it does not spread across the concrete part of the garage floor unless there is a ton of water. This works well for me since we have mild winters.

Our recent snow....

You may have missed my earlier post in this thread but these are what I use for the Mach-E and also other cars like Mustang coupes that have pinch welds. They do not bend, break, crack, etc. They fit perfectly in the section where the Mach-E should be supported. Of course you can make your own out of wood or whatever which should work fine for the Mach-E but I lift more cars than that so it is nice to have these for various applications. https://www.quickjack.com/accessories/pinch-weld-blocks/

Here’s my lifting set up.
I have 2 sets like this, as I plan on only lifting as a set, the front, the rear or a side.
the top 3” square lifting rubber has a rubber stopper mounted to it.
this fits into the hole of the steel plate between the lift point arrows.(stays in place)
then, because the bottle jack contact point is so small(3/4”dia.), I use a shooting steel 3” dia. AR500 3/8” thick plate, to distribute the pressures!

Notice how that fits the mach-e and NOT the jack? As I said, there is no good jack pad that fits both ends that I've seen. Or is your jack not hollow? That lift point on mine is a cup and would dig into the pad and destroy it.

Oh, you don't use that with a normal jack; you need a fancy $1000+ jack to use those $100 pads. lol. Not quite what I was wanting.

My jack is not hollow. The lifting point on my jack has a solid hard rubber pad so it is completely flat. Same with the crossmember extension arms and also the arms on my big lift. All have flat rubber pads on them built in.

I use a normal jack quite often if I am living up one corner (normal floor jack) or one side (normal floor jack with crossmember extension). I only use the big lift when I want to bring up the entire car.

For Costco members, they are also selling quickjacks right now on sale. Still pretty pricey compared to a regular floor jack. Don't think I can justify that for just wanting to do tire rotations.

5000TL for $1299.99 ($1650 on quickjack site)
7000TL for $1499.99 ($1815 on quickjack site)
I was all ready to order, but to make it worth it for me. My Traverse has 67" between jack points. I need the 7000TLX which Costco doesn't sell. Anyone see the 7000TLX on sale anywhere?

Love the pics, your garage is so clean. Thanks for sharing all the info!

For that Chamberlain, I assume you kept your coil cross/straight member right? I'll probably lean into doing something like that if my current one dies (~15 years old now). I like the locking option as well with all these garage break ins I see/read about now.

Thanks for sharing. I can probably swing for something like this since I don't think I would want to spend $1500+ for the full car lift and I really would only use it for tire rotations so far (saves me a dealer trip/time scheduling/hassles). Cost seems to be about $114 or $158 for the 4 ton version.

Did you get your MME yet? Wouldn't mind seeing how it looks with 1 side jacked up on two of these if you had time for a pic while you're lifting it once.

Would be curious for that jacking pad too if you had a link.

Thanks for the complement. Yes I kept everything as was. The opener connects the either end of the coil spring with a coupling . Easy to install, just takes a bit of time. Chamberlain has a step by step video also. I believe Liftmaster is the same company and has the same opener.

Picked up my Mach-e on 1/11/22, have not had a chance to test out my set up.
the car will be a “ hanger queen “ in the winter, only using when sun might be shining…. 268 miles driven so far…..

Reviving this thread because I am getting my car soon and I am still unsure how to get the Mach E lifted onto four jack stands. As others have pointed out, there are only four safe lift points and they are all at the corners. How do you lift a corner with the jack point, and then replace the jack with a safety stand.

I've seen a few posts here that just say they jacked it up and then replaced the jack with a stand, but that makes no sense! Can someone who has done it please post a video or show pictures of how it is done? Its really driving me nuts to think of owning a car that I can't safely lift in the air on my own. If I can't figure out how to do it, I may just have to spring for a set of QuickJacks and be done with it. Seems foolish though to spend that much money when I've made it this far in life just using jack stands.

Tip: Do not trust any Jack to support your car. They are not stable. ??

I use one of those truss lifts to lift the side of my MME then lower it onto stands. I have a modified Corvette pads that help to preserve the underside or the car. I still trust those less than I do my stands directly supporting the subframe of my Firebird. ??

LOL! This is what is driving me nuts. I want to lift the car with a floor jack and lower it onto jack stands. You have to be crazy or stupid to get under a 5K pound hunk of steel and lithium with just a handful of cheap hydraulic fittings keeping it in the air. :D

With most cars, I'd use a central lift point, in either the front/rear of the vehicle or on the sides, and then put the jack stands on the two lift points flanking the central one. That way you can get four jack stands in place with two lifts. Its pretty efficient and not too much of a PITA. With the Mach E only having the four corner jack points, I have no idea how I would safely lift it.

Hopefully someone can show in detail the proper and safe procedure for getting the Mach E onto jack stands, because while I have been drooling over Quick Jacks for years, I'm not excited about paying for them :D
