I've got about 20 WiFi enabled rat traps throughout my house/garage since I live on acres of property - it's just rural life. So I would think that they would prefer the peanut butter over playing with the lift gate.if it happens again Im gonna start investigating, ive got a couple of wireless unifi cameras I could stick one on the floor of the garage to see if something runs under it. Ide be more inclined if there were some evidence of critters, to think that, but so weird.
That being said, I've had it happen 1 minute after I walked inside the house in the middle of the day, so I'm sure it's not a critter. I've also setup a camera and nothing was there.
