Hi folks, I just placed my order with Sil-TerHar Motors in Broomfield (in for a long wait, I know). They have a Mach-E program coordinator there who seemed pretty well versed on the options, and she mentioned two interesting things - she has a few cars coming in soon that the order dropped out for, a Rapid Red and an Infinite Blue, Premium ER/AWD, in case anyone is interested, and also that they will have a demo car the week of Feb. 20. for test drives.

I'm curious what other dealer experiences people have had in CO - are dealers seeming knowledgeable? Confused? Supportive?

Out of the 4 dealers I visited when the Mach-E tour came to Colorado, Nicole at Sil-TerHar was the friendliest and most knowledgeable. Phil Long Ford seemed pretty enthusiastic as well.

I am using Freeway Ford. After some initial frustrations getting my order confirmed they have been pretty good.

Yes those two are it ( Phil Long Ford and Sil-TerHar Motors ). Unfortunately I chose another dealership, based on proximity to my home.

I’m in Denver and I sent in online contacts to see who would respond. My thought was this is the pandemic and almost everything is online so this should be easy. Only one dealer responded: mike naughton (as of tomorrow Schomp). This kind of made me sad because freeway is just a mile or two from my house. But even mike naughton has been luke warm. They’re more concerned with the bronco which is selling like hot cakes. But they’ve been nice at least and mostly responsive. Overall satisfied but not great.

and keep that info and pass it around. We all should. Show some love to the good dealers and the bad dealers will either get better or they will fade away.

Glad to hear I picked a good one (mostly luck - I read some online reviews, but SilTerHar is closest to my home and office). Nicole has indeed been responsive. She called same day I placed the order to confirm some details and let me know about the test drive car coming Feb 20.

I believe I am ordering mine through a dealer nearby, AutoNation Ford, to be honest I have a few within 10-15min drive. I have no experience with any of the Ford dealers though, besides the test drive with Ben @ autonation over this past weekend. Has anyone had any experience with Auto Nation Ford in Littleton? I bought my Pathfinder from an auto nation and didn't have any issues in the process, but with this being a new car and new pricing options for many of the dealers...and being that I am not an expert on the MachE or Ford's financing, I would rather not be the most knowledgeable person in the room when signing papers.

I'll let you know about Freeway Ford soon. Mine should be arriving anywhere from this weekend to the end of the month. They had a "delivery specialist" reach out to me last week. It was:
Dustin Gonzales
[email protected]
303-584-6647

I went over my expectations of no stickers and that I would be using Ford Options. He said he was aware of the program, but not all of the details. He also said he would make sure the finance team was ready to use that.

I've had two experiences with AutoNation Littleton. The first time was when the Mach-E tour came through so I really didn't deal with their staff.

The second time was yesterday. I told their sales rep I had a Mach-E on order and was looking for a test drive. We scheduled a time so my wife could go on her lunch break. I emailed the salesmen in the morning to make sure he knew we had limited time. When we got there, the Mach-E was out on a test drive and by the time it got back, it was too late for us. We ended up just taking some measurements quickly and then heading home.

The salesman then emailed me later about placing an order. I told him again, I already have one on order and his reply was "then why were you wasting my time?" Yep. I was a bit shocked. The sales manager emailed last night to ask about my overall experience while at their dealership. So I relayed the info above and haven't heard anything back from either.

Thanks! Yeah, I will schedule another Test Drive with AutoNation for my wife to try it out and see what she thinks of the dealer. They hounded me for a day till they were able to sell the GB FE they had available.

I bought mine from Barbee’s Freeway Ford in Denver thanks to @Mach-E VLOG, and I had a WONDERFUL experience.

Dustin Gonzalez is doing a brisk business on MMEs and they know their stuff. Even got Ford Options right. They also take x-plan, even on cancelled orders. Highly recommended. I might fly there to but my next car it was such a good experience.

Just closing the loop on this thread - I picked up my Mach E last weekend from Sil-TerHar in Broomfield and everything went very smoothly. Scott (the main Mach-e salesperson) let me know the car arrived on a Friday, and that he needed to have it detailed and charged. I arranged to pick it up on Saturday morning, and arrived at 9am to find it clean, fully charged and waiting by the door.

I had let him know I would be doing X-plan so he had the documents already printed using that pricing, gave him my PIN and MCoA card there which he made a copy of. They offered an “interior/exterior protection package” which I declined, and there was no hard sell.

Pricing was as-described, nothing funky, document fee reduced per Xplan. They remembered my deposit, which was accounted for in the form of additional down payment.

I used Ford Options, which was still slightly new to the finance guy, but there were no issues or mistakes, and the iPad signing process was quick and easy. While the finance guy was getting the paperwork together Scott gave me a tour of the options and helped me setup some good defaults and get my profile loaded.

All told it took about 1.5 hours, and there was no confusion, mistakes to resolve, or otherwise annoying or uncomfortable elements. I drove away and immediately took the car on a weekend trip which went great! Loving it so far.

Oh yeah, and they did NOT install the front license plate bracket! It was included, but just in the back of the car. Frees me up to install a more subtle bracket. I wish CO allowed the vinyl front plates…

Hi all,

I’m new here as I’m just starting to think about a Mach E. As I’m in the Denver area, I figured I’d ask here. Can you let me know how it worked for you all with the tax credits? Did any dealer apply the state $2,500 credit towards the purchase price?

Were there any other credits then other than the $7500 federal rebate?

thanks!

They are tax credits, you have to buy and then file your taxes for the year you buy it to get the credit paid/refunded. The 2 you listed are what I am aware of.

I got mine from Groove Ford in Centennial first week of Feb. Wouldn't say they were knowledgeable, specifically when I tried to do the PaaK fix, they were completely lost.

But the purchase went well enough that I pre-ordered a GT in April from them that was scheduled for first week of Sept production. Thought was to see what the trade in value was with the chip shortage and evaluate if I want to swap it for a GT.
