Unfortunately it looks like the leaked specs weren't far off. 800V charging, V2L. 197.2 inches length, 77.9 inches width, 69.1 inches height (basically the same as Telluride)

2024 EV9 RWD Standard; (215 hp, 258 lb-ft torque)- 76.1 kwH battery, 0-60 in 8.2 secs, range = ??

2024 EV9 RWD Long Range; (201 hp, ?? lb-ft torque)- 99.8 kwH battery, 0-60 in 9.4 secs, range = 336 miles on WLTP (probably ~ 290 miles on EPA) MUCH SLOWER THAN LEAKED SPECS o_O

2024 EV9 GT-Line; AWD dual motor (380 hp, 442 lb-ft torque)- 99.8kwH battery, 0-60 in 6 secs, range = ??

2024 EV9 GT; AWD dual motor (576 hp, 545 lb-ft torque), early 2025

2024 EV9 GT-Line is the sweet spot. But pricing and range are tbd. Not sure I'd spring for one if range is only 240-250 miles.
If these spec are accurate, meh. Not interested at all. Zero.

I need range. I need room. My MME is as good as this future vehicle in many ways, and I have been driving it for well over a year. Sad the competition is still playing catch up.

I agree, sad that I'll need to wait until 2025 at this rate for a decent 3-row EV crossover.

When the competition leapfrogs the MME, then I may be interested. But so far, nothing is doing that. Well, at least nothing that costs less than $150k.

EV6 boxcar energy consumption will be horrid.... due to its aerodynamic drag.
Surprisingly the cd is .28 (stated during presentation yesterday).

I think you're all writing it off a bit too quickly. Are the negative opinions based on the 0-60 times? I wish for electric vehicles they'd also include a 0-40 time. I think about two former cars of mine, a Nissan Leaf and a Toyota Prius. The 0-60 times weren't too far off from each other (7.8 seconds for the Leaf, and 9.7 for the Prius), but the Leaf could throw me back in my seat. That initial acceleration from zero to around 30-40 probably approached sports car territory before leveling off. Not that 0-60 doesn't matter, but it doesn't carry the same implications for electric vehicles.

It looks good in blue. I wish it had minivan-style sliding rear doors, but I'm still interested. Hope they didn't do a Kia Carnival-style rear turn signal (basically putting it just above the bumper - can anyone actually see it blinking?).

Volvo EX90 is still slated to begin ordering this fall for mid 24 delivery. Will it be “decent”? ??‍♂

Eh, it's ok. :) I'm not keen on Volvo's buttonless infotainment systems.

- Updated OP with some new power figures released at NYIAS.
- They're targeting 300 miles on the long range version.
- Will have an advanced version of HDA2 (not quite Level 3) tailored to the new Lidar unit.
- Max DC fast charging speed of 230 W
- On sale late Q4 2023, will first be built in S. Korea before shifting over to West Point, Georgia

Disappointing about the charging speed. Thought they'd be able to get 350kW with that 800V architecture. Besides, the EV6 can charge at 350kW?!

No EV6 has a peak charge rate of 350kW - they top out at 240kW.
You're right, my mistake. I mistook the ability to charge at 350kW EA stations with a 350kW charging speed.

I think the thermal management systems in the Kia/Hyundai EVs are much better than our mustang so the reductions shouldn't be as severe
I wouldn't say that with a 5000 lb plus vehicle. Large battery AWD range would be around 250 and GT 200. Winter range 25% less. I actually like this vehicle but owning a GTPE with under 300 mile range we want a larger vehicle for traveling with 300 plus miles. $70000 price point and 197 in long max account of garage size. The Lyric was on the list but GM fiddled with the AWD numbers at 305 vs RWD at 308. 350 hp vs 500 hp mileage isn't even close more like 250 or less.
RWD model real world highway test came out at 270 miles. Our GTPE at 65 mph returned a whopping 3.0kwh with temp outside at 80 and a.c. on at 68 fan at 2. Cold winter range 220 to 240 and summer 280 to 285 most local driving 50 mph or less. 3.5 kwh

Out of Spec with the first(?) US look at the pre-production vehicle. Charging speed will be 230 kW, 10-80% in 23 minutes. HDA2 will be standard. No new info on range or pricing for the GT-Line.

GT-Line is shown in Blue, Wind (lower trim) in light gray in the video. I was thinking about getting a LFP Standard Range Mach-E Premium but if the GT-Line will also have a 250 mile range (and a faster charging speed) then maybe I should just wait for the EV9.
