corrected. My point was that GM has a lot of prior experience with Ev's than Ford has had in the past. Waiting since January for a vin # for my MachE. Maybe a 2023?
They do, but it’s a completely separate point from the one he was making.

If you ordered in January, you should get a 2022.

2023 models will be for people who order 7 months later (August).

Ford cut off 2022 orders much earlier than they did the 2021 to avoid having to push people to the next model year like they did last year.

It makes sense that there probably is no storage. Otherwise, they would show it off.
That's because Ford has a patent on the Frunck idea.

Gosh, what does this new vehicle remind you of?

Aug. 21 delivery and 9000 miles in heavy traffic. No drivetrain issues to date and 3 outstanding recalls I don't have time to deal with and they don't have the parts anyway.

Being in Honolulu, I'll switch to the Lyric or Blazer (both on reserve) just to have Air Cooled seats nd a better ride.

Oh and a wheel and tire combo that are befitting a Mustang. My son's fat tire bicycle tread is about the same as the 225's on my Premium. All the other EV's have normal width tires in their range calculations...?

oh and the Hazard button is on the dash where it SHOULD BE!!! not where my kids lean on it.

I just heard that VW bought Navistar and is going to bring back the IH Scout as a EV. Should be interesting.

Ventilated seats, physical buttons, faster charging, hands-free tailgate, and red seats.

It will be nice to buy from a US automaker who makes the vehicle in the US.

A working HVBJB will be icing on the cake.

I placed my reservation for a Chevy Blazer EV on day 1 of ordering. I'm excited for this one, as it is a very nice looking ride. The Blazer would be for the wife, as I have my '22 Premium MME about ready to arrive at the dealership in the next 6-12 days!

Yes, true on the seats, buttons, charging and liftgate.

False, the Blazer will be made in Mexico, just like the MME. In the same plant as the ICE Blazer, too, assuming different lines though.

I’d argue both will have a working HVBJB, until it fails, sadly MME has higher odds at the moment.

How?

Tons of cars have frunks, and well before the MachE.

Every mid engine or rear engine vehicle made for example.

Beetle comes to mind. Check out that frunk storage!
Does their app have a frunk open button? 🤭

The Prius is a hybrid.
The Volt was an EV that happened to have an ICE thrown in. We drove our Volt for 4 years without ever using the ICE.
The Bolt is far and away the best vehicle GM ever produced. They even replaced (unnecessarily - only a couple dozen required replacement) the battery for free, no hassle, in a day. 20,000+ extra miles at no charge. And there are no quality problems or any other problems. NONE.
And the cost is falling.
Granted, it does not have all of the bells and whistles found (eventually, maybe) in the MME. BUT IT WORKS> NOW, with the new batteries, it has greater range.
Over the 50 years I avoided GM products I would never have considered any positive comment about them until now.
Most embarrassing for Ford. (Will your next EV be a Ford should Ford continue down this road?)
Granted, the MME looks great.
Detroit built junk for decades that "looked good".
More power to you guys who are betting on the Blazer. Hope and think it it will turn out to be a good move.

Have fun in your MME

What are the Dimensions? I've looked, nothing.
I don't think Chevy has released any dimensions yet. Curious if it will be taller than the Lyriq (which is shorter than a Jeep Compass)

I too just put an order in for a Blazer EV as it's not going to be available until next year sometime.
