Picked up my Mach-E order today from Caruso Ford in Long Beach. As promised, no ADM. Not only on orders, but on in stock Standards and Premiums. He did say if they got a GT, it would probably be marked up $2,000. That said, inventory was very, very low. But overall, great experience and Marco (the internet sale manager) know his stuff.

Best Ford in Nashua, NH wants $2000 ADM in order to process my custom GT order:

“We will gladly place your factory order and are pricing the Mach-E $2k over MSRP (as MSRP is our cost for the vehicle)”

I will call around to see if any dealers within an hour drive will process my order at MSRP. Note that this extra $2000 was sent to me in a separate purchase agreement and does not show up in the Dealer Selling Price for this order as shown in my Ford account.

How can we request an adjustment? I had originally listed a dealership as having no ADM for online orders, but they have recently changed their policy and now do have ADM for online orders. If I submit the entry again, will it overwrite the existing entry?

Has anyone ordered online with a dealer who agreed to the order with $0 markup only for them to stick you with a markup when the vehicle is received?

A Ford dealer in Hawaii is telling me that they will charge 10% of MSRP when the car comes in even though they approved the online order at 0%. Seems like bait-and-switch?

I originally messaged @Kamuelaflyer who filled me in that there is a fourth person around who also bought a Mach-E... if you want to message me I can share some notes, looks like we're on the same island. I am on month three of waiting for production to be scheduled but it's already been a bit interesting with my dealership of choice...

No ADM/ Bozard Ford Saint Augustine Fl. A very transparent $699 dealer fee you agree up front or you don't .Ordered a little Maverick from them on 11/03/2021 it is shipped now Very fast time their allocations are good .Went in finished up my deal with them no BS no surprises ,gave me excellent money on my trade ,gave me before price increase MSRP .No BS add on like window etching etc. Clean deal no heartaches. Now here is the big question I am new to the Mach E I ORDERED A MACH E 2022 premium on 11/18(500 down website) and received an e mail from Ford confirming immediately. Then I receive another e mail from Ford on 12/18 Saying my order has been assigned to Bozard Ford with an order ID number and an order date of 11/18/2021 ,And telling me I am an early order BLAH BLAH BLAH. Where am I in the process 4 months away ?, 6 months away?

Ordered a 22 Mach E (still waiting of course) and found a 21 Mach E 240 miles away. Autotrader had it at $500 below MSRP so I called and they want $10,000 ADM over MSRP. They lost the sale as they should. There is a reason that car is still sitting on the lot. Its bad enough that they charge MSRP as invoice now.

If it's a Premium/GT, people are certainly paying some ADM to not wait. I regularly check what's in inventory close to me and I've never seen special order cars sit, ever, in my area.

Premium's that are in inventory are always special orders so spoken for and drop off quickly.

I don't get upset that dealers want to mark up cancelled orders. I'm ok with it and know they have to eat/make $$ too.

As much as we all hate ADM, your lost sale means someone else will probably gladly pay more and not wait. We see this in Tesla's too where a used one cost more than a new one.

With the Mach-E, people buy used without the tax credit as well so yeah, people have more $$ than me and have no issues paying at least $7.5k more.


People can probably find Select's at MSRP or close I think if they looked hard enough. Some did get GTs/Premiums at MSRP or less too, but a lot more looking/work and need some luck.

The below dealers appear to have ADMs (some significant) on their Mach-Es.

Bought my MME Premium this weekend at Sunland Ford in Victorville, CA. When I ordered last June, was told there would be no ADM. I arrived Saturday and they added a 4k mark-up. I got it down to 2k and just decided to swallow my pride. Still eats at me that these Douche Bags can get away with this. They literally threatened me to take it or they had a sticker with a 10k mark up ready to go.

Will start looking for a 2022 Premium very soon, have trade in so looking for one on lot as if ordering dealers usually give hard time about waiting on the trade in 28+ weeks. Looking for dealer in Florida with no ADM.

Sam Pack’s Five Star Ford in Lewisville, TX is charging ADM on for sale Mach-E models. $5,000 on a California Route 1 I was looking at. Not listed on the site and was only added after I called them on it when requesting an out-the-door price. Along with an $1,500 of dealer added BS. I will be waiting for my order. But just beware.
