2021 Mache premium which I continue to love as it approaches 50k miles. Recently, the one pedal performance seems to have changed. I normally drive in Unbridled mode. The regenerative braking seems to be less aggressive when I take my foot off the acceleration (gas?) pedal and require more braking. I have tried the other modes as well. Has anyone else noticed this change?

My 22 seems to change every now and then. Recently seems to slow down more aggressively at first, but then seems to coast further before a complete stop.

Check the Drive Mode. Often it switches on it's own, and you might be in Engage without realizing it. It used to pop up an error message, but they decided to hide the message and pretend it wasn't happening. It usually doesn't even change the IPC graphics anymore when it happens to me. What gives it away (other than the performance) is that my screen will show text in the Blue color that goes along with Engage, instead of the Orange that goes along with Unbridle. It usually "sticks" and requires I change it to Whisper, then Unbridle for it to actually change back.

I feel like there are very subtle tweaks of the acceleration and breaking occasionally with power train updates. After updating the car kind of forgot and I had to switch drive modes to get the regen I wanted default was pretty weak.

I have noticed this, even yesterday I was musing about it. While my car does change drive modes on its own some times, I catch that pretty quickly and put it back to unbridled. '24 GT

Check your drive mode. Mine keeps going back to engaged when I want it on unbridled. Has been happening since the last update (10.1.1).

God, I hope tweaking the powertrain modules doesn't affect breaking... ??

I don't think it has changed the actual pedal but in opd I feel like it's become a little weaker over time you get used to it pretty fast but I noticed it had changed when I updated the car, but it might have also been confused because when I changed driving modes it went back to normal ish, hard to know precisely.

Same thing. Wife and I just noticed it over the last week or so. I created a thread yesterday as well. It sucks now. about 50% of the regen braking seems to have vanished. 22 Premium AWD Extended Range. The only updated I've received in the last 7 months is the 12v battery patch maybe a month ago?

It definitely changed on my '24 GT. I can feel it just leaving my neighborhood, which I have done now for 4 years in MMEs. I used to be able to roll up to the first red light and rarely touched the brake pedal. Not any more. I haven't gotten an update (that I know of) in quite a few months (I do track them, if I know about them).

I don't use it, but noticed that the regen is less aggressive when I click L, or in Unbridle mode.

Love how stuff changes and Ford doesn't tell us.
