I wonder if Ford even knows there is a problem with the BC update?
It's why I made the blue Cruise update poll over the weekend (it has more data than the simple "what version are you on" poll). They said it helped debug what's going on.

TL;DR: They know, and are on it.

SOOOO Gooood! Now if this can be repeated by my dealer...

Was the GWM update available in FDRS or did you get it through PMI?
The "PMI" is a procedure in FDRS for a given module. It's meant to be a way for settings on a module to be recorded, the module is then replaced, and the settings that were recorded are then restored to the new module. In the process the module is updated to the most current version of the software. That's my understanding. So that's why I believe the PMI process is being used to force recalcitrant modules to update when FDRS is reporting that the given module doesn't require an update.

So if your GWM is not showing that it needs an update, doing the PMI on it can force it to update again from scratch.

So they are watching?
Always......?

I know the 21G01 procedures have been posted here for those who are doing this at home using FDRS. I was just re-reading the instructions and got to step 19. which has you stop and do an entirely different procedure (21P22) before continuing on to step 20..

Just throwing this out there for those who are stuck on the BC escalator.....take a look at these steps to see if there's something you may not have gotten in the right sequence as a clue...

Also, I think I posted this before but I'm going to attach the list of module software revisions my car has right now for a reference to bounce yours against.

And look where it sends you to on No, back to 15. Seems endless loop. Should go to 20, no?

21P22 updated 13 modules. Had it done months ago.

@Hgray car appears ready as well. Hopefully she picked it up and is out testing right now. ?
It was not working for me. So I returned it back to San Tan Ford. My service advisor Tim and Matt the tech took it back out. It works! Got a short video!!

Wow that video is amazing! Really clear instruction and demonstration.

Not sure if Tim and Matt will see this post but kudos to them! And kudos to you too, for bringing it right back and having them prove out that it is working.

Nice video. Looks like it is the same two steps as before. Make sure LKA is enabled and activate cruise control. Sounds simple.
