My dealer just confirmed they got Bluecruise installed and working. But, I don't see anything related to BC in my ford account connected services. Am I missing something here?

Go and test it out. I have it but still don’t see it in Connected Services. I think that’s the latest error from Ford

so after full day at dealer, sync is now at 21281_244 - sounds like they did not update it all the way. I now also can't get the keep-your-hands-on-wheel mode to turn on - it just never shows up, says "blue cruise is not available" and then goes away.

Tested and no bluecruise. I've confirmed version 364 and don't see bluecruise expiration date on the center screen. Any advise for dealer technician would be highly appreciated.

I'd rather drive it than the truck.

I want to go to the EV event on Saturday.

I don't want to leave it for weeks at the dealership, wondering who dented it.

While I don't use Android Auto on this vehicle, I'm thinking I can use it, and then it will display my speed on the center screen. Fallback will be old phone, with a GPS speed app, on the phone stand in my cupholder.
Good plan. I would do the same. Drive it while they figure out how to get the part and fix it.

It works! I am Job 1, never in EA. On 2.3.0 before things started.

Went in for 21G01 on April 4th. My dealer did their best but it didn’t work and at the end I had Sync version 358.

Back in today and they were able to finish it and make it work! I now have BlueCruise. Based on what others have said I’m assuming it’s the FDRS update that made the difference.

I haven’t really tested it. I’ll have some time tomorrow. I tried it on the way home just to make sure it works, but I didn’t want to experiment with it for the first time in heavy traffic.

My service text said something interesting. They’ve applied the update to a lot of F150s and never had an issue. It’s the Mach E‘s that cause problems.

Don’t give up, it’s real.

I have no solution to suggest unfortunately. :(
I have accepted that BlueCruise can't be installed on my car and moved on. It isn't worth stressing over it for sure. Plus, I wasn't going to buy the service anyway. I am a project manager by nature so there is always a path to success for most things. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a clear path here. This car just can't accept updates like Ford hoped. BC from the factory seems fine. Via OTA for only a select few and via dealer install for a few more. Or get your own cable and FDRS license and have a try at it yourself.

That’s where I’m at. With broken lane keeping.

My car made it a little bit further before it got stuck. I still have Adaptive Cruise with Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Centering. So, I get the bubble and hands on wheel icon. However, the lane centering doesn't work very well now. It was pretty decent prior to the attempted update but now it works for a while and then just gives up. Then my car drifts over to the edge of the lane until the LKA complains and I have to take over, re-center the car (or place it where I want in the lane) and then after 3-4 minutes it does it all over again.

Super weird.
I am pretty much "updated out" with this car. Everything else has been fantastic. Great car but let down by shabby software. :(

I'm seeing this exact pattern of codes in vehicles that are fully updated but still don't have BlueCruise FWIW. Performing the SSM steps doesn't seem to work either.

Just finished the 4th round of working on @Shaggyrn car.

SUCCESS!

Basically all I did today was go through and do a PMI operation on the modules involved in the BC update series.

The CMR and IPC then updated to show the versions that other cars had and it worked first try on the test drive!

I'll get some data together and post some version levels to look for that are known to work correctly.

Well at least for some failure to update modes, I stand corrected!

The FDRS update solved the problem of Ver. 358 -> Ver. 364 without PMI's. However, it does appear that PMIs might do the trick for some of the other existing update failures.
