Hi @benk016

I'm glad the new FDRS is solving the APIM issue. My dealer had managed to get me up to Sync 364, so my APIM updated. All of my ACC and LC are working fine, LC with Hands-Free is turned on, I have the October expiration date for my maps, and I get the BlueCruise "box" on the screen. However, I still haven't received BlueCruise in Connected Services and the people at FordPass tell me I have to take it back to my dealer.

I really don't want to waste the dealer's time or mine if the dealer won't be able to fix it. Do you think the dealer will be able to fix it now? Is there something they'll be able to do to get the FordPass initiation moving?
There are a few people who seem to be in the same situation, everything is updated and it shows up in the menu but isn't activating. I believe this is the next group being addressed after the fail to even update issue was resolved last week

This is the part i'm not sure of. There could still be something in your car that didn't quite update fully that is keeping the trigger from enabling it on fords end or in the car.

I'm going to work on @Shaggyrn car this evening to try just updating the config on some of the modules to try and get his Lane centering back and enable BC. I'll update this evening if I make any progress. He also is up to version 364 with all the appropriate menu items. I at least want to get his Lane centering back.

Dear Lord,
You folks doing Ford’s Work for them deserve a medal and some stock options from Ford. Maybe a consulting contract for your time.
I’ve been somewhat keeping abreast of what’s going on here and all I can really say is that I’m so glad this doesn’t effect me. My GT has BC pre installed, my wife doesn’t even really want it. So I’m good. But the rest of y’all, your tenacity deserves appreciation.

Definitely keep us updated. I did order the items to update my car and they'll be here later this week. It would be nice if we can find what the combination of updates that fixes this issue.

I just heard from my dealer that basically they don’t feel like they did anything wrong and they don’t know what to do next and they’d be happy to look at my car again…on May 19th. Supremely annoyed.

Mine needs a new Instrument Panel Cluster. Totally driveable, we're picking it up this afternoon and awaiting the part coming in.

I am in the same boat. My dealer still can't get bluecruise on my car after all the updates and Sync being on 364. Doesn't Ford hotline help these dealers to clear such issues?

With no speedometer? I hope the part doesn’t take long. At least you can get to the battery percentage through the center screen.

I'd rather drive it than the truck.

I want to go to the EV event on Saturday.

I don't want to leave it for weeks at the dealership, wondering who dented it.

While I don't use Android Auto on this vehicle, I'm thinking I can use it, and then it will display my speed on the center screen. Fallback will be old phone, with a GPS speed app, on the phone stand in my cupholder.

I have a question for the experts in here. I took my car in for the TSB 22-2117 which they performed and the 21G01. they said they got multiple errors when doing the 21G01 so it didn't take. My APIM does not show a serial # and the Sync shows Revision 252 however I don't have any of the software updates since Powerup 1.6.0 I been stuck in 1.7.1 since beginning of Oct. Since I got my car back last week its hitting my wifi multiple times a day but no software updates Notes, games, X by the car in the upper left. I still am stuck on 1.7.1. Do you think it would help to disconnect the 12V battery for a min to do a hard reset? My vin# is 3FMTK3SU7MMA36937 if that helps to unlock the issue I am having. Thanks you to anyone who can provide advice or help. Ford Master tech has been reached out to last week but has not responded yet.

Your dealer ran the 22-2117 fix, and it shows it was successful. However, the Sync update to give you the same as OTA 2.3.0 failed. From the logs, it looks like it couldn't download the files from Ford's servers, so they just gave up and sent it back to you.

okay thank you so is there a reason they won't download OTA?

There's no one that can answer that factually. Sure, it would seem logical that WHEN Ford releases all the BlueCruise updates, every Mach-E should be able to get them OTA. Doesn't mean it will happen that way, nor when it will happen.

I would be happy just to get some updates I still don't have 1.7.1 yet. Do you think disconnecting the battery cable for a hard reset will help?
