However, PTS is still reporting this is your sync version: SYNC4 v4.0.21233
Hopefully that just hasn't updated yet and everything is good.
Thanks. That's what it starting showing yesterday before I initially picked it up. On the screen it said revision 415. Do you know what Sync version it is supposed to be at? I have seen something in the 300s and 421 for the revision in this thread, nothing about the other sync version format.

As of this week, if everything is done correctly, Sync should be at 22095_PRODUCT Revision: 421

Okay, not promising... I called them because it's been sitting in the lot for close to two hours now, and they said it still needs work. I have to have a car tonight no matter what, its been five days.

Looks like they've been having issues with the IPC update.

I think she meant staying on continuously after the updates were done and I took the car home.
Do you have any more details? I've been getting warnings about low voltage for the lvb, only started when I got the car back from the failed update attempt. No clue what's causing this and what to do

Since I got BC, I notice that lane centering is better. I keep it on medium intensity. I was the first BC install for my dealer on an MME (they had done a 150). What I most pestered them about was to do the other reqd updates first, then BC. Also keep the battery charging. Took two days.

Ford Mustang Mach-E Optional Product Improvement Program 21G01 - BlueCruise Programming 123_1 (5)

Well, finally, after the fifth attempt by my dealer technician, I had a successful Blue Cruise installation. I won't rehash all the details from the first visit to the fifth, but I will say the dealer's service department stayed committed to getting it right even though it was frustrating, and he was very open to the feedback I provided him from this forum.

I did find something a little strange, though. A few days ago, I received Ford's email stating Blue Cruise was on its way for my vehicle. I was already scheduled for a Thursday morning appointment for the technician to make some new updates based on feedback from Ford Engineers. He was told to delete and reinstall FDRS to delete the cache and then reinstall the newly updated modules. Literally 5 minutes before they started the module updates on my car, I got a push notification on the Ford Pass app that Blue Cruise was now active on my Mach E. I immediately called the technician, and we both decided to go ahead with the module updates to get me to Sync 421. I was one of the folks who had Sync 364 and ACC and lane centering, but Blue Cruise was not active in Connected Services. I wonder if there was an OTA update installed right before the technician was to getting ready to install the newer module updates.

Anyhow, it works now and last night I enjoyed testing it out. For those still experiencing the headache and frustration with getting it installed, hang in there. I believe it is closer than you think. Thanks for all who provided me VIN updates.

Possibly, or possibly a lot of people working all hours of the day and night to get this fixed and you saw it live

She was pretty vague about any details. I think she just wanted to get rid of me. I think they're just afraid of doing something that will cause them to tie up a tech for days to fix it. I wish I had known about the supplement to 21G01 , might have been able to convince them to go forward.

So I brought the car in for 21B36, 21C22, 21P22, & 21G01, now when I charge the red lights come on and service car now shows up when I try to start it. Waiting for a call back from the dealer, guess my 1+ year of no trouble has ended. When they replaced the window they messed up the wipers too.

I’d love to know more about this. Like what’s going on in the background at ford right now? Is there active monitoring of dealership updates? Proactively taking actions on things?

Another ray of hope for anyone else still waiting.

Had my car at the dealer for five days, they were having trouble at one point with connection and it kept failing on one module. Yesterday they finally got it all completed!

Sync version 421. Blue Cruise is working!

There is hope out there!

More good news for some of us.
In my opinion, it seems that most of the dealers weren't prepared for this. They wished the OTA updates would have spared them the anguish of dealing with the updates. But......Ford forced them to get into the game early because is where the future leads. Even the ICE vehicles have BC also.
Now, I also believe that some modules do misbehave or malfunction. But I think most of the problems were human error induced.
I don't question everyone who tried to update their vehicles themselves, did their best to bring BC to life. But I think most of us put a lot of our faith on our dealers which they were not prepared.
Tesla builts their own CPUs and normally don't have to update so many different modules. Irregardless though, if Ford decided to approach OTA updates in a different way, they knew the challenges they were going to face and adjust to them and their dealer network.
We all heard lately that Ford is separating it's electric division. Other legacy automakers have said no to that split
I heard all kinds of things a year ago from most of them but now they either trying to catch up to Ford or Tesla????
Hopefully the dealers get the message......jump in the bandwagon.....and keep up with the change.
Failure is not an option.

I don't know what is going on in the background. But the dealer technician always kept me in the loop about his conversations with Ford Engineers about challenges with the Blue Cruise install. Ford pointed out the issues with configuring the IPMA, which ultimately led to their recommendation to delete the cache from FDRS and install the updated modules.

You couldn't be more wrong IMO. Yes, some dealers can't follow directions. But Ford had to modify the procedures multiple times, then had server issues. Onus is on Ford, not the dealers.
