OTA Powerup Software 2.6.0. First update in a while.

Have had my GT since September. Zero updates so far. I don't have a Blue cruise capable car though, which seems to be where most updates are geared towards. Not sure what version I have either.

I have had a frunk button in the app since day one, only drawing in games. So it's not the latest version, despite my car saying it is.

You have the latest version that is available for your car. The only thing Job 2 cars have gotten is a BlueCruise map update.

My 2.6.0 update did come after a 45 minute drive.

Went from 2.3.2 to 2.1 after recall and today got 2.6 finally. Just give me blue cruise already!!!

Seems like going out for a drive helps the car update. I swear I read that somewhere else on this forum. My 2.6.0 update did come after a 45 minute drive.

It worked! After driving about 15 miles I got the 2.7.1 update. Two updates in two days!!

No update today for my failed 2.6.0, was hoping it would try again at the same time

I am shocked! Took my car out for a test drive on an in terstate after receiving the 2.8.1 update this morning to see if blue cruise worked. Was expecting to be dissapointed again with ford updates, but it flipping worked. Had dealership supposedly do the update but that failed. So am please to say I am surprised and shocked. My car is a job 1 not ea. So hang in there it will come. Now if they could only get the frunk release dealt with and installed, that would be amazing!

Hoping to see the same result soon (dealer bricked lane centering trying to do the BC update.) Hope I see 2.8.1 in the queue after the 2.6 goes through. Unless I need some random 2.5 update first ?

You might want to reach out to see if your car is communicating correctly. Something might be wrong with the modem or gateway I think.

Why is the wiki has 2 different version number for the same update beginning with 2.3/2.6? Is the first one is the early access number et the second one the definitive version?

I think i read they are changing the way blue cruise is being sent so they changed the version numbers around.

I got 2.6.0 yesterday and 2.7.1 today. I didn't do anything special other than drive around (I'm not part of early access, and i don't have wifi in my garage)
