I have a widget, and my failed 2.6 expires tonight. fingers crossed for a fairly quick re-try.

My 2.6.0 succeeded about a week ago, no problems, but I haven’t seen anything since and I’ve actually driven it quite a bit for me. Does a successful OTA need to also expire before the next one will hit?

No, think something has been paused for some vehicles. That’s my theory. Remember, vehicles could have different modules, module software and manufacturers, even the same trims, it all depends on how and when they were built. So I think a batch of vehicles got paused.

For some it appears so, but I know I got 2.6, then the next day I got 2.7.1.

So it's anyone's guess....

My dealership in Toms River just did the update with my blue cruise, took some time, but YES it's done.

Took 1 week to get to 2.7.1 from 2.6.0. Basically the time had to expire on the OTA deployment for the next update. At that rate it would take weeks to get to the BC update. Hopefully it doesn't always have to wait for the OTA deployment date to end for next update.

Same here, maybe they are doing Carbonized Gray cars last? For whatever reason we don’t seem to be on the fast track for getting this done!!

Just got a notification that 2.6.0 was installed. Reading through this update, I don't see anything I didn't already have. Oh well. I will just be happy updates are happening. Come on Blue Cruise!

OTAs coming fast and furious now. Just updated to Power-up 2.8.3 on my MME FE Job 1 following last week's OTA to 2.8.2.

Dealer got BlueCruise working for me, and my one longish drive on I-5 on Friday was my first time using it. After a couple of minutes of anxiety about how safe it actually was, it worked quite well. I felt more like an airline passenger than a car driver...

Any ideas about what's in 2.8.3?

Ford just says "Minor improvements".

I'm waiting for Ford to resolve a know SW problem with the electronic frunk release, but I don't think 2.8.3 resolves that.

After repairing a short to ground on the control module operating the frunk, and then after all SW updates, my dealer reported that the frunk release was operable through the center console, but then it disappeared. After waiting over a week for a Ford Setvice Engineer to arrive (they never did), Ford contacted my dealer and let them know this was a known SW issue that they were working on...

They probably are trying to figure out why it failed. Having another failed attempt will be useless.

That makes sense. Did you figure out if you all have a similar build time yet?
