Ok, so based on that quote, they aren’t even rolling out 2.4.2 to everyone in EA, just a “select group within EAP”. So, the rest of us are standing outside the club, waiting and hoping the bouncer will open the velvet rope and let us in? Or are we in the club and trying to get into the VIP? I’m so confused ???
I been standing outside the upgrade club since the beginning of Oct waiting to get in the 1.7.1 section of the club. There are so many more update sections I have not even got to see yet.

Including today, there are two days left in February. I'm sure the rumored fix for those stranded on 1.7.1. will happen. before the end of the month.

That part of the club is called ”the non-us car owners” because the only updates we’ve got are 1.6 and 1.4. So far I haven’t been bothered by it because there hasn’t been anything interesting in those updates but damn, really wish I could get that braking update because atm the brakes are touchier than a virgin on her wedding night xD.

Huh? How would you pull a car out of a garage using the “front tow points” if it’s parked nose-in? I’m not sure how your house is built, but a tow truck would have to drive through my living room, knock out my mud room and powder room, and knock out the staircases going to my second floor and my basement. I think it would be easier for Ford to just find some “magic way” to get the car “into neutral” so it could be moved out of the garage and onto my driveway.
Run the winch cables under the car from the back, then connect to the front winch points, but aiming backwards (they are just holes). Pulling from that point would make the steering pretty twitchy since you'd be pulling from close to the pivot point, but for a straight pull out of a garage I think it would work fine.

Oh! I never thought of that. I think I thought the car would try to pivot around the front wheels vertically, but of course not!

After receiving that Ford e-mail (and some implications on here from vairous people) about software updates I set an update schedule to see if I would get updates any faster (just set the schedule to 11pm every day).

Tonight coming home from a drive I get the update icon on the screen. Pressing it shows "You have an update scheduled" with 3 options "Update Now" "Reschedule" "Cancel". So of course I hit "Update Now". I'm then instructed to turn off the car and exit. The screen then shows a coutdown to update.

Of course nothing ever goes right with a Mach-E right? Almost immediately after the coutdown expires I get a Ford Pass notification that the update didn't work. So I try it again several times (I'm up to 4 right now LOL):

Inside the car:

Then this after turning off the car and exiting:

At that point I walked back into the house because, hey its working now....

Nope! Shortly after that I got another "We recently tried" event. Funny thing about these, however, is that I can go back out in the car and have it retry again--this will be my 5th attempt after I hit post LOL.
Hello! Can you send us a private message with your VIN and Dealer Information? I can look into things on my end. Thanks!

I bet if you yanked on it real good then it would try! That would be a hilarious insurance claim to make “Mach E stuck in attic after high velocity towing extraction.”

My thanks to all of you who have found a few things that need adjusting in the 2.4.2-2.4.5 series. of PowerUps. Further installs of 2.4.2 are on hold. No biggie, the Mach E Team is just working some details out. They'll resume soon. In the meantime, those of us waiting to get on the escalator to Blue Cruise will just have to wait a bit longer at the bottom.

That stinks they are on hold, but I’m glad they are taking a cautious approach this this roll out and fixing issues as they come up.
