well you have max range of 232 miles if the 374km is correct for 100% charge.

How dare the workers drive your car around for 14km/8 miles lol

They must have went to the local taco shop for breakfast and used your car. :)

I would have laughed if pairing went thru and you locked the workers out of the system then they would have to do a reboot on the car to reset everything.

Or you happen to be in Mexico at the plant and pair your phone up and start messing with the alarm and all just mess with the workers lol.

I'm evil I know lol

I was surprised that they were only requiring you to re-enter your password, instead of using a more common code sent to your phone for multi factor authentication MFA methodology.

Just received a push message from the app that they reset the "mastersystem" and that my access is revoked.
I do however see an activation button but can't activate it

Already spoke to another Dutch buyer who received exactly the same message 1-2 days prior to my message. So looks like they do a "master reset" of the car at one of the last steps in the process - before shipment.

Looks like it. Someone else (Canada poster I think) reported the same thing.

Aren't they testing the cars on a track in Mexico or driving them to a charging station? ?

I believe they do that to clear the history from the system so what ever settings the workers had on the vehicle for the testing purposes, seat positions, mirrors, log in, and so on is completely wiped out and car systems is locked out until shipment. I think they do a full charge because no telling how long it will be until it is shipped. So you might be getting notifications of it being charged at shipyards as well. Since you in Europe cars will not stay charged for month or 2 so they might be hooking them up on ship or once they get close to a port so they have enough juice to move them and plug them in at the ports.

When Ford was building the Focus Electric, C-Max/Fusion Energi and some other models.....they get put into Factory Mode while at the factory. Then when they are parked for shipping they get put into Transport Mode which limits things like how far the lift gate opens, door locks, automatic lights, max speed, etc. They use this mode to avoid unexpected issues during the shipping process.

I presume the Mach E has a similar process. I am fairly sure that Transport Mode would cause the vehicle to drop the remote connections to the apps.

I would hope they don't charge to full. I'd rather they leave them at 50% or so (heck even 90% would be better than 100%) given that they will be parked for a whilte. 100% full would not be a good way to treat a brand new battery sitting out in the Mexican sun all day.

Let the dealers put that last few % in them prior to delivery (it gives them something to do other than wash it ;) ).
