I had for the first time passengers in my 2023 MME GT and we noticed no matter what we did with the climate control you could not get air to come out of the rear seat air vents. There doesn't appear to be any control of it. Of course this happens when its only 15 degrees out! Anybody else know anything about this? Thanks

Silly question…was the vent open? There’s a dial under the vent to open/close it.

I just tested mine on my GT and air did come out for both heat and defrost selection with vent open.

My 2022 F350 would only output AC to the rear vents if the control was on auto. Is the MME similar?
Those rear vents are ducted the same as the front panel vents. So if there air coming out of the front panel vents, there is air coming out of the top rear vents. Mode selector has to be on panel, whether you set it there manually or the AUTO setting did, it doesn't matter.

Thanks for replies everyone. I did manage to rotate the damper open and closed but very little air movement. Unlike other cars it appears this rear seat set up has no individual fan control and relies on whatever the main cabin fan is doing. Bad design in my opinion for this high tech of a car. Oh well, can't do anything about it now. BTW cold driving as in 25 degrees and lower you lose 1/4 to 1/3+ the normal range. Bummer. A heat pump would have been much better!

I noticed the same when the weather got cold and I needed to use the heater. The front an rear vents work fine when using AC, but nothing coming out of them when turning on the heat, even at max setting. I only see the heated air coming from the vents close to windshield.

Heat comes out of the lower console vents near the floor.
