Is that comparing it to the original or the 15?
It's pollen season here in Virginia. Walking by my car yesterday, I noticed the 16-inch Bosch A 401h wiper blade sweep line, both on the top and on the bottom by the wiper arm pivot point. IMHO this pic speaks for itself.

Last Summer, thanks to Connoisseur's advice I bought and installed the Trico 15-G 15 inch rear blade.

However, last month thanks to Su-Ch+MachE's suggestion I ordered and installed the 16-inch Bosch A401H rear wiper blade.

Very happy with the result. The Bosch A401H blade sweep reaches a full 1/2 inch above the rear window's top defroster wire. And just like the Trico, the Bosch blade just clicks into the wiper arm.
Amazon says the A401H doesn't fit the Mach-E. Of course, I trust users in this forum over some algorithm any day ?. Ordering....

I changed the wiper arm & blade for a MkII Galaxy UK spec for larger swept area. Have just ordered your A401H to see if that’s any better.

I suggest you try the 16-inch Bosch rear wiper blade. I had them both... the Bosch is better.

Just installed the Bosch A401H. Easy and functional mod for the rear window. ?

It’s going to tell you that, since this is not a direct-replacement part. Kind of like putting a 7 liter engine in where a 5 liter originally resided (or in my case a 7.5 where a 6.6 was). ??

I had previously installed a trico rear blade and it was difficult but I eventually got it on correctly. Today I tried to remove the trico and install the Bosch. But when I tried to pull off the trico, only the rubber blade assembly came off, but not the metal piece that "clicks" into place.

I think that metal piece is still attached to the right end of the wiper arm (I can see and feel a metal piece that I can easily pivot with my finger). I tried to yank it off but it was stuck pretty hard and I didn't want to break anything.

Should that small pivoting piece be there or do I need to yank it off with pliers before installing the Bosch?

I was having a hard time finding the specific blades mentioned in this and similar threads in a store anywhere. My local O’Reilly’s Auto Parts had a Bosch Spectrum Direct Fit R1521 that works perfectly. Full contact with the glass along the whole blade, and goes right to the edge of the glass at the bottom. It has a little plastic locking cap that comes off easily, then it snaps tightly into place.

For those who have used Bosch replacement wipers, have they stayed on well? I decided to try a Bosch A351H, it is a 14 inch wiper. The wiper clicks in fine, but the Ford OEM wiper seems more stable because the connector is L shaped, whereas the Bosch just pops in and out.

Comparison pic of the connectors below - the Ford OEM is in the foreground while the Bosch A351H is in the background.

I haven’t tried using it yet, but it looks great on the vehicle. It doesn’t look too large, no overhang, doesn’t overshoot the edge. I know I won’t get as much coverage as a 15 or 16 inch wiper, but aesthetics were a priority for me, and I didn’t want any overhang or a wiper that wasn’t flush with the glass.

Below is a pic of the Bosch A351H installed, with the Ford OEM on top for comparison (I marked how far the OEM went on the right side to align it as it was when installed).

My 16-inch Bosch works great, even with occasional ice on the hatch
