Gee, I did not know that Mach-E came with a gas engine.

Thanks Mach Lee for this info. I called the dealer and scheduled the update.

Much appreciate this notification, scheduled a little while back and my appointment is finally coming up this Monday. Do I only thing have to ask them to "install the 21P22 update"? Its what I put in the service request. Specifically picked one of the bigger Mach E dealers so hoping they're familiar with the process.

Thanks, that's exactly the info I was looking for.

I never charge on the road, so the charging curve has no value for me.
I'm sure I'd get used to the modified brakes, but they're fine now and could only get worse.
I want to wait a bit longer to get the recall software, till the part replacements are going smoothly.

I think I'm gonna pass.
I eventually decided to get the update and the recall. The dealer seemed to do a good job. It did take all day, but apparently that's normal/unavoidable.

Everything seems to work fine - no change in brake behavior, PAAK works better, and the backup start passcode now seems to appear reliably when it's supposed to. They also got handsfree BlueCruise working again.

They did also do the recall software, so I'm expecting HVBJB failure in my near future. Maybe. But the dealer has now had a good bit of experience with the part replacement, so probably that's for the best, too.

Thanks again, @Mach-Lee, for the reminder and for your sound advice!

Note of warning: you need to have the work done before the program expires, not just schedule the appointment prior to expiration. I scheduled 21G01 prior to it ending at the end of the month. But my actual appointment was in October. No 21G01 for me!

I’ve taken my vehicle in multiple times to get this program completed. Each time I receive my vehicle back a few days later saying they weren’t able to install updates because of some issue. However, when I inquired about getting the updates done (in conjunction with the my HVBJB replacement ?) they looked in their system and said they didn’t see anything 21P22 related for my vehicle. The same occurred when I checked my vehicle using the site listed by the OP. Don’t see it listed, but I’m pretty sure these updates haven’t been done, I still don’t have BlueCruise.

How can I find out if my modules still do in fact have updates that need to be installed that would be covered under 21P22? And how do I get the dealership to actually perform the updates (and I can verify the updates are completed?

I have to say, having to rely on dealerships is torpedo’ing the experience of being a MachE owner ?.

Post VIN here and ask if 21P22 has been done: https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...are-willing-to-look-up-info-for-others.10230/

My car was due for the 10,000 miles service, they did the 21P22 and 22S41 updates, it took the whole day but it was done with no issues. I did not lose my presets for radio stations but I did lose the save charging location. The bill was only $37.00 . I am happy with that :)

I scheduled and brought my 2021 Premium in my Dealer in Concord, CA on Saturday for 21P22 and 22P08 flashes. The dealer hanged on the car till today and just let me know that they couldn’t update due to errors. They told me to pickup the car and wait till Ford engineer getting back; not sure when. Very disappointed day.

Good luck. I had the same doubts, but it seemed to work great for me - fixed a few problems, and didn't break anything.

I'm scheduled for December, couldn't get in earlier. I called Ford and asked this specific question (does it end Nov 30) and they told me that it will be covered. If they were wrong I have the case # and will have to go back to them with what they told me...
