Hey everyone, this is my first time posting on one of these so bare with me.
Has anyone noticed an increase in what seems like aggressive driving and/or road rage directed at you when you're driving your Mach-E?
We live in the Midwest and my wife drives all over town with it. It seems like she has noticed an uptick in incidents with lifted trucks that won't let her onto the expressway or get really close behind her, and generally drive very aggressively. Today she said one truck wouldn't let her on the expressway and another one nearly side swiped her.
I told her to keep the non-emergency police line on speed dial and call in the plate when she sees something, but we're not sure if they are just terrible drivers or if they're being a-holes because she's driving an electric car.

I’ve never had an issue with a lifted truck being able to keep me from merging into a roadway. The. Again, I’m not afraid to use the zoom zoom pedal when it’s appropriate. ?ā€ā™‚
Yeah, she basically just forced her way on so he moved out of the way.

A-holes. Immature minds yield immature behavior when they don't like something.

So far the responses that I've noticed have been positive, but there are a lot fewer people that drive lifted trucks around here. Oddly enough my car rarely draws attention from anyone

1) People suck
2) Get a dashcam

Here in SoCal we have an absurd amount of EVs... I almost think it could be opposite here, where the EV crowd gives grief to the ICE cars lol
Yeah, I was driving through San Fran and San Jose a few years back and I remember thinking how crazy it was even then how many Tesla's we saw! I even saw an E-Golf which we were never able to get here in Nebraska.

There are a lot of lifted trucks down in San Jose, and a few bunghole drivers about EVs, but mostly positive responses. I think there is just a lot of aggressive driving lately overall.

I have a front and back dash-cam. Front one is a VAVA model with button for taking pictures of video of dumbshits license plates. Rear is a nice 4K with parking activation in case of bumps.

Every asshole wants to race / camaro the other day who weaved through all sides of traffic doing around 80 to 90.

I just want to listen to my audible books and drive home from work in traffic.

I've had a few thumbs up, even from Tesla drivers. Also weirdly pickup drivers love this. I thought a few times i was getting pulled over the first week I got it, but good ol boys just want a peek of her.

This car definitely invokes crap from people, but when I'm on BlueCruise doing 70 in the center lane, couldn't give a crap.

I am petite young lady and not a ā€œbroā€ who drives a S550 Mustang…but the people driving around me don’t realize that and I can NEVER merge onto the highway or into the road. It’s a complex the other drivers have that when they see a sports car or a nicer looking vehicle they have to act like donks and automatically assume you are a jerk.

Not sure it’s EV based or not. I just seem to encounter more of this sort of behavior period. Seems to me that there are a lot of people driving tiny econoboxes who have a death wish. They seem to get aggressive with my ā€˜72 Blazer.

for the most part no one seems to notice the car, I'm good with that. Those that do all compliment it and say they like it. Haven't gotten any hater/road rage thing
