I"m sorry, I'm not up to date on some of these threads - what is the "1PD" problem? Is that a known issue?
Yes - it seems that after some work has been done that includes some module reprogramming that 1PD may drop out while driving. It has not happened in all cases.

So what are they doing with the L2 charging and the melting and burning of the charging port (stuck)? Just letting that one ride?.
Shh not now, here’s a free NACS adapter for your pain, soon.
So I’ve had the L2 fix. And it de-rates at a curve. It’s been covered in another thread but took ‘charge port melted’ repair at the dealer for it.

Ya know it’d be almost comical, although very painful to read, the time line of dropped balls with this and the Lightning. Maybe if I get bitter enough I’ll put that together and post all over the web. Just not sure the site could handle all the new Tesla peeps coming to laugh publically about it. It could tank what’s left of the value of, oh yeah, never mind.

Yeah, which is why I don’t really want to do it, but people buying MME’s used might benefit immensely from such a thread.
I know I would have.

Finally got 23B50 and 23S56 scheduled for mid-May. Guess they will cancel again. Oh well.

Effectively immediately, all service and recall programs for the Mach-E that involve powertrain software updates have been halted. This seems to be related to 1-Pedal drive faults encountered after recent powertrain software updates performed by dealers. Here is the list of programs stopped:
If your vehicle is scheduled for service on any of these programs, that service will need to be put on hold.

Do not perform any powertrain updates (PCM, ABS, BECM, SOBDM, SOBDMB, SOBDMC modules) in FDRS.

This post will be updated once the hold is released.
Well, shoot. Just had the charge port and driver facing camera fixes performed and next day had a 1PD fault. Just one occurrence in the last week so far.

Indeed, I had to power off and power back on to get 1PD back, putting in to Park alone didn’t work.

Nice to have Blue raise back but 1PD faults would be worse. I hope the fix will come soon.

thanks for the post @Mach-Lee!

The bad update set has been pulled from FDRS this morning. Hopefully that will let dealers get back to completing the repairs quickly.

It’s gonna be an interesting week for me I guess. I dropped my vehicle off at the shop this past monday and they have been working on the hvbjb, charge port and roof reseal all week.

I’m gonna be po’d if they have to keep my vehicle longer because of this bs
If it makes you feel any better, you're gonna get a free wireless charging mat, yeah, it's identical to the one you already have but this one will be FREE.

If I had to guess OTA’s will stop again as well. With as long as these fixes take to put in place I’m starting to wonder if it’s almost planned to create repairs for cars out of warranty or by the time the fix is working they’re out of warranty. (Cynical I know but it’s really hard to ignore it)

I really held out hope that Ford was on the right trajectory with software and mechanical improvements for the Mach E. Beyond my personal experience with lengthy repairs, stuff like this makes me question the long term viability of the vehicle.

Thankfully I am leasing but not looking forward to years of headaches.

I just love how my timing flips from good to bad to good again. My car was built days before the switch to the better HVBJB at the factory. I was able to take delivery before the "stop sell" when they instituted the software fix. I finally got around to taking it in for the new HVBJB and 40K checkup last Wednesday.

Yesterday (Friday) I checked on its progress, and the service guy was kind enough to let me gawk at the F-150 lightening on the hoist with its HVB on the battery jack, the only one they have. Said my car is done with everything but the HVBJB swap and associated software updates, should be ready some time next week. Also said they would check the voltage balance between all the cells and replace the HVB if any cells were out of spec, the first I've heard of that but it makes sense. Don't want to wish them any bad luck but I guess I wouldn't holler if I get a new HVB at 42K miles. Doubt it though. Car runs and charges like a champ.

Wonder whether they'll give it back to me Monday and reschedule "operation battery drop," or whether it's already in pieces in the service bay. Sigh.

At least I have a spare vehicle that needed to stretch its legs a bit anyway.

My only issue would be there is a certain group of owners who have not received OTA’s since last August. If an OTA is the fix then we won’t receive it. Not too concerned about 1PD because I do not use it but what other gremlins may pop up? Also I have come to find out my local dealer has opted out of Model e so I am just waiting out the next two years of my Options to turn in my GT. To be clear I have had zero issues to date with how I operate my 22 GT and just hope that continues!
