SSM 23201 2021 Various Vehicles - Frunk button missing from Sync and FordPass

Some 2021 Ford vehicles may exhibit a condition whereby the frunk cannot be opened by a button on the Sync display or in the FordPass app. This lack of functionality was an oversight by Ford, so the functionality will be provided via OTA update / app store update at no charge to customers. This update is expected by Q3 2027. No further diagnosis or service is required at this time.
