Saw this SSM today, sounds like 2 key fobs are not unique to GTs.


SSM 50176 - 2021 Mustang Mach-E - Key Fobs

2021 Mustang Mach-e vehicles built on or before 06-Jul-2021 are equipped with only 1 key fob. The vehicle is not misbuilt. Vehicles built on or after 07-Jul-2021 are equipped with 2 key fobs. The customer can also use the phone as a key feature for an additional key. Do not submit a claim for this condition.

My GT did not come with 2 fobs. Unless the dealer screwed up but I asked about it and they said it didn’t come with it. What do I do?

Having ordered my car in late May of 21' I was fully aware of the single FOB issue and bought one off of flea bay so that I would have it when my car eventually shows up. My dealer even offered to program it for free but I guess I wont be needing that favor now.
I am so glad I found this forum, its made my wait for my MME less stressful!

This is literally Ford laughing in all of your faces and you're all just taking it happily.

The people who suffered early with a very poor PAAK should be getting a 2nd FOB now that PAAK is improving with time they decide to give a 2nd FOB.

sooo far. Your phone won't last as long as this car. The current OS has an even shorter lifespan than the phone.

Um... the SSM is quite explicit that they will not.

No frees. But they won’t stop anyone from getting a FOB from a third party supplier at half the price (or less) and getting it programmed.

Just go buy one.

It’s not inside my manual bundle. Also have no idea what my build date was. Is there a way to find out?
