Same here. I'm not sure I've ever used it, but it was still $30 well spent.

PAAK has worked flawlessly for me since I picked the car up (Outside of a single occasion). With that said, the car should come with 2 fobs. Give those of us who bought cars built before that date a fob or credit us with the equivalent Ford Pass points or something.

Saw this SSM today, sounds like 2 key fobs are not unique to GTs.


SSM 50176 - 2021 Mustang Mach-E - Key Fobs

2021 Mustang Mach-e vehicles built on or before 06-Jul-2021 are equipped with only 1 key fob. The vehicle is not misbuilt. Vehicles built on or after 07-Jul-2021 are equipped with 2 key fobs. The customer can also use the phone as a key feature for an additional key. Do not submit a claim for this condition.

Nobody knows how to give the middle finger quite like Ford. Gotta tip my hat to them. I’m adding “It is not misbuilt” to my lexicon, right up there with “Q2 2021” and “software is hard.”

Me, too. For $40. Which I'll be able to program myself (having two fobs with the car) and then have a backup to my backup. Or so my 19 year old son can drive my Mustang--not!

For giggles, I called Ford customer service a few hours ago to see what they would say. After being on hold for a long time, they explained that I needed to go to my dealer to see if they could do something. Essentially passed the buck that it was out of corporate Ford's hands. Not implied, pretty much said those exact words.

I have a second key waiting to be programmed, but I haven't got around to doing it yet. It is possible the dealer has a fund for these things, and I might get one on their dime, too. I'm not counting on it, though.

Yep, I'd take the points for my wife's car delivered in July. So a key fob plus programming at a dealership I've seen ranges from 300 to 600 bux. So that's like up-to 120,000 points (200 points = 1$). I'd take it!

I don't care what any one else does. I already put a deposit down on a different car and getting ready to get this one out of here.
