Interesting I submitted my request for change to include my build date (12/7) and the fact that I have a VIN but it doesn't seem to have been updated with my info.

@Administrator got my VIN by calling Ford Customer Service at 800-334-4375

Just wanted to note that since I haven't heard anything from my dealer (after 2 voicemails, 2 e-mails, and a message with the dealers receptionist) I called this number to try and get a VIN, but was told (without any looking/options) that I'd have to get it from my dealer. Guess it depends on who you get as to how helpful they may be.

I had a printed order from my dealer with the order number. She asked me a LOT of questions, including getting that number off the order sheet. Do you have that?

I don't, but she gave no options other than to talk to my dealer. When I mentioned other folks having retrieved their VIN by calling this number, she didn't acknowledge it and reiterated that I needed to call my dealer.

I'm not in a rush for it, but getting more peeved that my dealer isn't responding (well, so far I've only left e-mails/VMs for the GSM, who I had spoke with before). They didn't seem to have any normal sales people handling the Mach-E orders.

We've hear lots more cars will be scheduled this Thursday. Hopefully yours will be among them.

The week before mine was scheduled, my dealer showed it as being in "preview" status in their system.

It's already scheduled, December 21st, per Ford's e-mail. I was simply trying to retrieve any VIN number assigned.

Oh good! Yes, your dealer should be able to provide the VIN.

Other than being able to see your window sticker, what's the value in knowing your exact VIN weeks ahead of time? I suppose you could use it to quote insurance, but also way in advance than is typically necessary?

Am I missing something because my dealer hasn't notified me of my VIN and I am not bugging him to find it?
