it’s a bit of a gimmick. It might be enough to top up your 12v if you’re lucky. might work in the Sahara a bit.

just never forget your cable or better still have one for the house and one for the car. You’re in trouble if you forget it.
Will Ford compete by putting a wind turbine on the mache roof?

Just a bit on the Ionic solar roof. The roof is about half the area of a solar panel. So it’s only going to produce about 200watts optimistically. The angle is flat. So even in ideal circumstances it’s only going to produce about 1Kw/h per day... so on a sunny day 3 Miles if you’re lucky. Assuming no shadows.

Great - Untethered it is for me then
I'm only quoting spensaf's post for simplicity, but yes theoretically an un tethered cable could get cut and stolen- BUT then all you have to do is replace the cable. If a tethered cable is cut and stolen then you need a qualified sparks to fit a new one and provide the necessary paperwork for your house insurers. Loadsamoney and hassle...

When I had a Leaf (2015 model) the car locked the cable in the socket while you were charging and unlocked it once you were ready-but you could only do this by accessing the car and using a push switch.

Have a tethered cable if you're in a secure/gated property.
Agreed - sadly not for all of us. We have a short drive and a garage (actually my office and workshop) never had a car in it ...

...of course if you always keep the cable in the car it's available to charge wherever you are, and it's impossible to forget it. #justsaying ;)

You soon get in the habit of disconnect, coil, dump it in the boot. It's really no hassle. Buying a second decent quality / decent length cable is also really expensively unnecessary.

Yes that’s the way to do it. BUT... My neighbour nearly got divorced after she left the plug connected in a hurry. He then took the car and drove 109 miles. Went to charge at 11pm to get home after a typical bad day ... you can fill in the rest.

he lives by the never touch the car cables... and I guess with tethered you effectively have two. If you ever have a faulty cable you can then public charge.

it’s each to his own....

I think size matters too... at my house Ineed to go across the car and to the opposite side.

Size always matters :)

...and of course it’s a personal choice. Everyone’s use case is going to be different, and I’m just playing devils advocate.

Does it look like the Grande Halifax is going to Altamira instead of Veracruz?
Does anybody know about changes in that schedule?

Ser det ut som Grande Halifax skal til Altamira i stedet for Veracruz?
Er det noen som vet om endringer i den timeplanen?
[/SITAT]
First Altamira then Veracruz.

Il a besoin du numéro d'identification qui apparaît en haut de la page - donc à moins que vous ne photographiez les résultats du tracker précédemment, vous ne l'aurez pas, attrapez 22

there's the Gral San Martin arriving tomorrow and the Grande Florida on March 25. Both must come to Europe after surely a few stopovers on the east coast of the United States before.

Hi guys,

I'm sure this has been covered before but please humour me;

The tracker now needs VIN + order number.

When I input my correct numbers, it still says "Can't retrieve this VIN".

Any ideas?

Thanks

Salut les gars,

Je suis sûr que cela a déjà été couvert mais s'il vous plaît, faites-moi plaisir;

Le tracker a maintenant besoin du VIN + numéro de commande.

Lorsque je saisis mes bons numéros, il est toujours indiqué "Impossible de récupérer ce NIV".

Des idées?

Merci
