Yeah I've done the same - just as back-up! Would still dearly the like the Mach E if Ford can get their act together!

I think it's clear that recent orders made in the 28 days before the PICG change, if logged properly, will be fine. But I just find it hard to comprehend that older orders, many made by customers more than a year before will have to pay a £3k premium. My guess is that Ford is lobbying government for the cash to pay PICG for all orders made prior to 18 March, and if they fail to secure that, then Ford will have to take the hit, rather than us.

I'm sure many will disagree, but that's my hunch on what will happen - we'll see!
Congratulations, You were correct.

That was me and I didn't confirm that I was messing around. My reply "spoilsport" was aimed at SJOkay's comment for not believing me.

Looks like Gral San Martin is preparing to move. Looks like a tug is in position ready for action. I'll keep an eye on it for those of you who have been told that your cars are on her.

I see. you might need to make that a bit clearer on the post as you didn't respond to Scott after he said, he thought it was legit.

I'm sorry. But after everything we have been through and all the posts I have made on here and Facebook I would assume that most people have a little trust in me when I say things. Obviously I was wrong. I'll shut up. Anyway I thought I did "reply" to Scott's post. If it didn't look like I did then that's Facebook's issue not mine.

I am soooooo bored at work. Good job the boss is working from home. I posted a link the other day to an article that said that 1500 MME's would be delivered to Antwerp by the end of March. I have just looked again at the photo of the carpark in Antwerp that was posted earlier and counted (told you I was bored) the cars that are there. Give or take a couple there are 1498 parked waiting for things to happen. Lets hope that the "additional QC checks" are carried out quickly.

Graham no need to take this personal, firstly i didn't even know it was you, I'm just telling you as a casual observer reading the post it wasn't clear it wasn't an April Fools joke. I already had this same info from my dealer which I posted about here and in the group on March 25th, in fact you and I had a back and forth on it in the FB group, you said the concierge contradicted what my dealer told me. I have no reason to doubt the authenticity of your post, I may not have had it in writing but my dealer told me categorically thats what ford had told them it was doing.

Smoothbond. At that point your dealer was wrong unless your order was made after Feb 17th. My dealer said the same to me, but I checked and they were wrong to say it. The decision has only been made and published today. We are extremely lucky to have Grahame keeping us posted where Ford have failed to. Having spoken to Ford they have now realised that Grahame is their best way to get out a message to many people quickly (I know, ridiculous, emails should he one click and done, but their system isn't great, which we have all seen first hand).
Happy April one and all, we are one month away from some of our babies getting to us, let's get excited!

Great news for you guys, but not for those that have First Editions who pre-ordered early, where we lost out on the £3,500 PICG available when we pre-orderd. I have written to the Concierge to ask if Ford will also honour the PICG available when I pre-ordered my First Edition Mach-E (18/11/2019). At the time the PICG was £3,500, subsequently reduced (from 12/03/2020) by the Government to £3,000 and only on cars costing less than £50,000. So the First Editions also lost out on the grant. I know the earliest we confirmed our orders was 11/12/2020 (way after the 2020 Budget decision), but just a chance they might do this on principle, but not holding my breath!
Update - the Concierge (Hannah) confirmed that it is ONLY the £3,000 PICG for cars costing under £50,000 that will be honoured. It is only at the point of confirming your order online, which took place in December 2020 did you enter into a purchase agreement with your dealer. At this point the grant had already been removed from vehicles over 50k mark. Good try but as expected!:(

Amazing for cycling. I hear cars behind me and can chat to a riding partner. It's like have ambient background music.

Also, fantastic at the office for zoom meetings. I can hear what's going on with the rest of the staff!
I've just googled "office" to work out what you're referring to!
